The four of them made their way towards the top of the castle. There was a window leading inside and Han smashed his way through it for them to fly inside. He was surprised when he had to use a little bit of his strength to break through the window, if it was Fey or Leona then they would have found it hard to break through it. What kind of reinforcement of they use for this castle for it to be this strong? Was it some sort of magic? Han would have never even thought of magic being the cause of anything before but he really can’t say that now, can he? Not after everything that happened with him.

The place they landed in was a corridor that lead down both left and right. Han turned to the left and began walking until he reached a door at the very end of the corridor. It was dark and had this strange blue magic circle over it. Han touched it and immediately knew that this was the thing trying to stop him from looking inside the room.

Dorea tried to touch the door as well but she hissed as her hand was burned. Han rose a brow while looking back at the door. Was there some sort of defense on it? He deactivated his [Pain Nullification] and [Body of Adamantine] and touched the door again before he felt a small sting on his palm, like a mosquito bite. This place really has a lot of strong magic!

Han activated his eyes again and he saw that there was a shadowed figure inside the room. He put his palm over the door and he activated a skill immediately!

[Palm Strike] has been activated!

Boom!

It was like a truck slammed right into the door! The entire thing bent at an unnatural angle with a deep groan before it flew off its hinges and crashed to the floor! The door slid to the ground and then Han looked inside the room properly. There was a bed, a sink, and mirror and also a toilet. It seems Han was wrong this time. This isn’t a room.

It’s a prison.

“Huff! Huff! Huff! Huff! Huff!”

A boy was holding onto a bar on the ceiling and doing repeated pull-ups. His entire upper body was uncovered so his rippling muscles and intense scars were clear to be seen.

After some time the boy fell to the ground and Han noticed that the boy was just about as tall as his shoulder. He was just a teenager.

“I didn’t think that anyone would come up here today. Tell me, who are you?”

The voice of someone that didn’t give a damn. If Han was anyone else he was sure he would have shivered at the tone. Han stepped forward and the boy turned to them all. There was a gasp from Fey and Han could see why she was so shocked. The boy’s eyes were emitting a great amount of hate and pure anger. Those weren’t the eyes that a teenager should have.

“I think you’ve gone on enough trips to know that we aren’t like the other people in this world”

The boy’s head bobbed up and down to answer Han. He could feel from a while back that someone has been looking at him. The boy’s eyes were hollow and empty as they stared everyone down from under his long bangs. These were the sort of eyes that a person who has given up on his humanity would possess.

“Yes, you are all very strong. You were strong enough to break the door that I couldn’t break even with all of my power. That is why I haven’t tried to kill you already. I want to kill everybody, but I don’t want to die before I accomplish my goal. You especially, you are unbearable strong. You are so strong that it makes me jealous and sick at the same time”

The boy’s eyes changed to red as he glared at Han and Han smirked. Those were the [Eyes of Horos] that he once had! So this boy was already strong enough to gain this skill too? But even though it is impressive, the boy is still a rude bastard. It is like he doesn’t have any filters for his words at all, does he?

Fey stepped forward and she saw how the boy’s guard came up immediately. He was more than ready to fight if any of them came any closer. He didn’t really care if they were stronger or not, he would rather fight and die than not fight at all.

“We came to take you somewhere you can be with others like you. Are you willing to come? It will be very good for you”

Fey stretched her hand out in an inviting way. She didn’t see the point of trying to force people to come to the Temple. It was best to try and be nice to them and show them that the Temple wasn’t a bad place. But a hand grabbed her own and dropped it. Han stepped forward and the next words that he spoke shocked her.

“Don’t bother, he won’t come with us, Fey. Not until he does everything he needs to do. Tell me, boy, how long have you been in this room?”

The boy ran his hand through his long hair as he laughed.

“I… Don’t know how long I have been here. Dark magic was what they said was wrong with me. I was a prisoner before I even knew what it meant. But I have been to the future and I have seen more about this world than anyone else. You won’t stop me from doing what I want! You won’t stop me!!”

Han tilted his head to one side. He could see undying resolve inside this boy’s eyes. It seems that he has been waiting for this day for a long time. Han didn’t know why, but for some reason, he decided that he wasn’t going to drag this boy away from this world yet.

“… What do you need?”

“I need you to stay out of my way”

Han chuckled as he moved out of the way. The boy’s eyes lit up in shock and Han’s sinister grin was all the boy needed to see before he started to walk out of the room.

Fey was shocked by what Han did and she tried to stop the boy but Han stopped her instead.

“Let him go”

“Han! This isn’t what we were sent here to do!”

Han shook his head and allowed the boy to leave before he bent down to the floor and picked up a piece of stone that was worn and flaking. It looked like someone has been using it for a very long time. He looked up to the wall in front of him and his face squeezed in annoyance as he saw the markings on the wall. These were markings of dates. This boy has been counting the days since he was put here.

“Fey, stop to think for a second. I know you already suspect it. Leona and Dorea already realized it so why are you trying to lie to yourself? The system told us who this person is. He is the prince of this kingdom. This room is a place right above the castle and only the royal family would have access to a place like this. That means his own family locked this boy up for more than six years. The family that is meant to look after you and give you love locked him up like a monster. Do you still think we should stop him?”

Fey didn’t have anything to say to that and she silently squeezed her palm around her staff. She already knew all of this, but it was still wrong! They shouldn’t just allow the boy to carry out a vengeance like this!

“You aren’t a saint, Fey. We’ve all killed our fair share of people. If it is for him, he needs this. If we take him to the Temple like this, then it will be the worst choice for him.”

“And who made you the one to choose something like that?”

Leona finally spoke up for the first time and Han turned to see her angry face staring at him. He huffed and stood up. So what if a few people in this world died? It wasn’t like it would change their plan too much.

“You don’t understand it, Leona. None of you do”

“And why not? What kind of nonsense could possibly make this okay!?”

Leona was now shouting and Han held himself back from hitting her with some bloodlust due to how annoying she was being. That would be counterproductive to what he wanted to do. So Han began to walk out of the room and he didn’t even bother to look back to see if the girls were following him. He knew they wouldn’t believe him no matter what he told them. There is nothing more dangerous than the anger of a man who has nothing to lose. If they take this boy to the Temple, then it would be the worst choice they could have ever made for him. He would live as a man without purpose.
