Gregory was flying towards Han to warn him of the scientist. Even though Gregory only saw that white outline of the scientist, he could already tell that whatever it was, it was more dangerous than even the dragon!!

But once the Bloodlust spiked Gregory fell to the ground! His flight skill turned off and he just fell straight to the ground like a rock! Gregory slammed into the ground almost a mile away from Han and he could see Han looking at something.

Did Han know that person? It looks like Han isn’t surprised to feel this bloodlust, so he probably knows the person who created it!

Han’s breaths started to come out in heavy puffs as he tried to force his heart to calm down. He couldn’t let himself be nervous here. He looked down at his left arm and the injury there stared back at him, there wasn’t much pain since his [Pain Nullification] was still working but he could still feel it hurting! He had to do something fast! He didn’t have the strength to fight someone like that scientist in this kind of condition! He will die!

“Are you thinking of running?”

Shit!! Han jumped forward and immediately activated his [Dragons Breath]!!! How the hell did this scientist get behind me already!? I didn’t even notice him!!

A great wave of fire shot towards the scientist, but he just stood there and allowed it to wash over him! Han landed on the ground and tore his white shirt immediately! He wrapped it around his arm and formed a bandage to prevent his arm from slowing him down in this fight! He knew that the dragon’s breath wouldn’t even be enough to slow this bastard down!

And just like Han predicted, a hand poked out of the fire and shot a white orb straight at him! Han jumped to one side and then flew into the air to avoid the orb, he didn’t know what this thing did and he didn’t want it anywhere near him! But the orb followed him like some kind of homing device! Han blasted off towards a mountain and he sharply turned upwards just as the orb was about to catch him! The org slammed into the mountain and Han breathed a sigh of relief when he finally got it off his tail!

Ka-Boommm!!!!!!

The entire mountain erupted in an unbelievable explosion!! Han’s eyes widened in shock! What the fuck did that small ball do!? How can something like that destroy an entire mountain!!? It’s even stronger than my [Dragon Breath]!!

Han looked back at the scientist to see a smile on his face as he released hundreds more of the ball! Han cursed and immediately used his [Angel Wings] to blast off into the sky! The balls were following Han like they were his ex-wives looking for childcare funds! They released blast after blast as some of them slammed into each other and each of the explosions was strong enough to push Han to the side! Han didn’t have time to rest in the air at all as he had to maneuver around the balls while also avoiding the explosions left behind him!

Ha had to do something. He can’t allow this bastard to just keep playing with him like this! But what was he supposed to do!? Even now, his full power was only had about eighty percent of this bastard’s full power! Anything he did could be easily countered! Han looked down to see if the scientist was still there and his shock was not small when he noticed that the bastard was gone! Where did he go?

“Maybe we can talk without trying to just kill each other”

Han couldn’t stop himself from flinching as the scientist’s voice rang through his ear again. Fuck. How does this bastard keep getting behind me!? Han sharply turned around and saw the scientist floating in the sky behind him. The man was so relaxed like he didn’t just send an entire legion of bombs after Han!

Han could tell that he didn’t have much of a chance if this came down to a fight, he needed to get out of this some other way.

“Okay, fine. Talk. What do you want? If you had just tried to talk to me in the beginning instead of shooting that arrow at me then maybe it would have been better”

The scientist smiled. He was pleasantly surprised because he didn’t think Han would listen to him at all. He came with his real body thinking that Han would just make things harder for him, instead, Han was willing to listen. Interesting.

“Tell me, Han. What do you think of science? With intelligence as high as yours, I’m sure you understand quite a lot about the universe, right? The different planets and the different worlds that exist in the different planes of existence. There are quite a lot of things you have always been curious about. Am I right?”

Han tried to understand where this was going. Was the scientist trying to poach him? He couldn’t deny that he has always been curious about other worlds and what sort of places they were. There are a lot of races in the Temple and each of them must come from a world of their own with their own rules. But he didn’t know what that had to do with him or this conversation.

“I don’t particularly care for science. I believe that understanding the secrets of the world is important, yes. But there are more important things to put my efforts towards.”

The scientist hummed. He didn’t particularly like Han’s answer, but he could learn to live with it. Han was a smart man, and as a smart man, he would eventually understand why his sacrifice was so important!

“Then I don’t think you have to run from this. What I seek from you is research. Your sacrifice can serve as a catalyst for great things for other people. I want to understand more about your people and also your system. As a fellow man of high intellect, surely you understand!”

Or in other words, I want to cut you open and see what’s inside. Han now knew that there was something desperately wrong with this man. The scientist was insane, not just because of what he did, but because of how he believed that there was nothing wrong with what he did! Just how many people have been killed or tormented by this mad man in the name of science!?

Han couldn’t believe he even thought for a second that this thing could be reasoned with!

Hans wings suddenly spread out behind him as he activated another three skills while adding points to his stamina and strength immediately! Once he added the points, he felt the pain in his hand reduce while his MP increased by 20000 points!

The gale Winds blew across the area and blasted Han away from the scientist! The scientist’s face was showing an expression of shock! He didn’t expect Han to refuse his offer! Han put up a middle finger and shouted Fuck you!!!

Twelve huge magic circles opened up in front of the scientist as Han activated both [Laser beam] and [Electric Railgun] at a hundred percent output!

The magic circles released all their power in one huge beam!!! Han was flying like his life depended on it! And it did! He had to get out of here! He knew that what he did wouldn’t be enough to kill that mad bastard! Maybe injure him, but definitely not kill him! Where the fuck are you, Gregory! We need to get out of here!!

Gregory was just managing to get himself off the ground from the bloodlust he experienced when he saw the magic circles that Han made to attack the scientist. He was suddenly getting that feeling again that he was way in over his head with people like this! This is still floor fifty! If people like this exist on floor fifty, then what the fuck will they find on fifty-one!?

[Gregory. Can you hear me, Gregory!!?]

Gregory flinched when he heard a voice in his head. He looked around and saw there was no one around him. He then tried to answer back by saying a quiet ‘hello’ inside his head.

[Gregory, it’s Yuuma! I’m talking to you through the shadow hunter! Where’s Han!? I need to talk to him but he’s not answering me at all]

Yeah, cause he’s fighting for his fucking life.

[What!!? What happened!? Did the scientist already find him!?]

Gregory flinched at the shout! Did she hear that too!?

[Look, Gregory! If Han is fighting a man that is made of white light, then you have to get him to the next floor! Do you hear me!? No matter what happens make sure you get Han to the next floor! He should be able to handle everything from there, but just get him there first!]

The connection between the two of them died down and Gregory looked up into the sky to see Han flying away from the scientist. The first thought in his mind was, when the hell did Han put a shadow hunter on me and why haven’t I noticed all this time? Gregory was sure he has traveled using his shadow many times already. Should he not have noticed something as big as a shadow hunter inside his own shadow!? This man has no respect for privacy at all!!

The second thought was fuck, I need to get to Han!!

Gregory steeled himself and blasted off the ground. Han once saved him back on Magicus and Gregory won’t allow Han to die in a place like this when there is something he can do to help! This is the least he could do!
