Thinking of REACH just brought her mind back to Han and the intense changes she saw in him since he walked out on her offer for business all those months ago. He had grown beyond what she expected him to and now his company that just came out was already bigger than her own! She didn’t even know he was making a company till the previous day!

She regretted letting him go even more now. If she had held onto him then would her company not have grown to the hundred million mark already? If only she had begged him more instead of just trying to coerce him with money. He surely wouldn’t have disagreed to it.

But it was already too late now. He was already bigger than her and there was no way he would agree to come work for a company lower than his own.

The sight of Han walking out of his banker’s office made her snap out of her musing. She saw him whisper something to the woman he came in with before the woman ran out of the building. Miss Kim was curious about what they spoke about but she really just wanted to talk to Han.

She had no idea when she walked quickly towards him and stopped him from walking out. Han turned around and she could clearly see the shock in his eyes.

“Miss Kim…”

Miss Kim smiled at him and she was happy when he smiled back at her. She thought he would be angry with the way she spoke to him at the party but she was glad he wasn’t.

Han meanwhile was just happy to see a Miss Kim that wasn’t a drug addict in front of him. He felt like hugging her but he knew it would be weird for her. Just the thought of what the dealer did to her in the future just further fueled the hatred he already felt towards the dealer.

He turned fully toward Miss Kim.

“What a surprise to see you here. How are you?”

Han was talking to Miss Kim like a friend he hadn’t seen in a while and Miss Kim didn’t know why she didn’t like that. She rubbed at her forearm and tried her best to keep the smile on her face.

“I’m fine. I just saw you coming out and I thought I would talk to you. Did you come to talk to your banker?”

“Yes. I had some problems with my account but I settled them already. What about you?”

“Oh… I just wanted to take a look at my accounts to make sure there were no issues. The company is going into the fifty million mark and I didn’t want the account to have problems”

Miss Kim didn’t know why she was even telling Han all these things. She just felt very nervous in front of him and didn’t want him to leave so she kept on taking. Han gave her another smile and then he was about to say something, but that woman he came here with before came in and interrupted them.

“The car is ready -”

Han turned away from Miss Kim and gave the dealer the most intense glare she had ever seen in her life. She flinched and took a step away. What did she do this time!? He looked like he really wanted to kill her!

“Get out and wait in the car,”

Han spoke in a low tone ad the dealer quickly turned and ran back to the car with her head low. Han watched her go before he sighed and tried to calm down. He couldn’t believe he almost released his BloodLust right there. It would be bad for the people in the bank if they all suddenly thought he wanted to kill them. They would probably just faint from the shock!

Miss Kim didn’t see the interaction between Han and the dealer but when he turned back to her she realized he was no longer smiling.

Han ran a hand across his hair before trying to force a smile out.

“I’m sorry about that, that was just my driver. I have to go now so maybe we can continue this later?”

Han stretched his hand out to Miss Kim and she took it gladly. But she didn’t know when the sleeve of her shirt rode up a little and Han’s eyes trailed down to look at her skin. The side of his eyes creased in a worried look and Miss Kim quickly dragged her hand back before he could see any more.

“You… You better get going now. It was nice seeing you, Han”

Han nodded before he walked out of the bank and towards his car. He got into the back and the dealer drove off.

Back in the bank, Miss Kim was stuck standing at the spot she had been and holding into the sleeve of her shirt tightly. She couldn’t believe she had been so careless! How could she allow herself to become so relaxed!?

She pulled up her shirt and the large bruise that wrapped around her wrist stared back at her. She was sure that he definitely saw it. What would he think of her now?

Han was in a state of contemplation as the dealer drove him towards his penthouse. He played the image from what he saw in this mind over and over again and he tried to tell himself that what he saw was not what it was. But his Photographic Memory was not to be denied. It was like a perfect picture of the bruise kept on flying to the forefront of his mind every time!

There was only one thought that Han had with regards to what he saw and he didn’t think it would be good for the culprit if he found out that it was true!

But was Miss Kim actually being… Abused? The same Miss Kim that stood up to REACH and made her own company from the ground up? There was no way that was possible! She would never allow herself to be abused and keep quiet about it!

But then why did she have that injury on her wrist!?

Han sighed as they reached his penthouse and he came down and entered the building. He told the dealer to stay back because he was going to see Lily and he didn’t want there to be any problems in his house. If Lily suddenly froze his entire penthouse then the bills would be astronomical.

He got to the top floor and opened the door to see Lily still lying in the bed. Tao Long was standing to one side of the room and looking outside the window and once Han entered he turned to him.

“Boss! You’re back!!”

Han nodded and moved towards Lily. He heard her mutter something about blood in her sleep and he couldn’t help the scoff that came out of his mouth. This girl only thought about blood.

“Can I be excuse Boss? I need to see someone,”

Han waved his hand towards Tao Long and the man went out of the room. He then sat down on the bed and shook the sleepy girl. Lily grumbled in her sleep before her eyes cracked open and she stared at Han with a blank look.

It took a second for her to recognize where she was but she eventually smiled and got up from the bed. She had been having the best dream ever and she was a little angry that he woke her up. But the dream had been about him so it didn’t matter!

“How are you feeling Lily? Do you need anything?”

Lily shook her head with another smile. She was happy that Han was with her and she didn’t need anything else right now. She moved from the bed and climbed on Han’s lap while facing him.

Han felt his entire body shake when she did this. Was this girl not self-conscious at all!? Did she know she was naked under those clothes?

Lily dragged a hand across Han’s jaw and Han suddenly realized that this was a repeat of what happened in the future. She was going to bite him again, wasn’t she?

Lily tilted his head to one side and licked along his neck greedily. She was so happy that he was allowing her to do this. For her, this was the only way she could show that she liked someone! If the person didn’t push her away, then the person liked her back! At least now there wouldn’t be anything between the two of them!
