"Sorry, | don't think I can help. You should find someone else," Yasmine declined directly. If she hadn't married
Xavier, she believed she could have been an excellent psychologist. But now, the thought of treating a patient
made her hesitate. The setting sun cast a gentle glow across Yonas' face, softening his features. He smiled
gently, not looking the slightest bit annoyed by her refusal. "Ms. Sanchez, just take your tto think about it"
After Yasmine and Chuck drove away, Xavier's expression turned even colder. The sudden shift of Yasmine's
attitude left him feeling off-balance.
He got in the car with a long face, and heavy silence hung in the air. Only when Yvette cuddled up next to him
did his mood lift with her sweet scent.
"Xavier, my parents are coming over tomorrow to talk about our wedding. Will you be free?" Yvette's beautiful
face lit up with anticipation.
For a moment, Xavier felt dazed. For the past three years, he had been waiting for Yvette to marry him. Yet, as
