Olivia rested her chin on one hand, her eyes narrowing as she glanced at Mia and the others. Smiling, she said, “I

Mason's tone turned steely. “No one in St. Rona Academy has the authority to expel Ms.
Carter.”
Mrs. Davis let out a laugh of disbelief. “And who do you think you are? You think just because you say so, she
can’t be expelled? My husband is an honorary board member of this school! Your words mean nothing here!”
Mason raised an eyebrow. “Honorary board member? Luke Davis, correct?”
Mrs. Davis's face lit up with pride. “At least you know who my husband is. Now, take her and
leave before vou embarrass yourself further!”
