Chapter 504

Nathalie's lips twisted into a wicked grin. "Greta, did | ever mention you should steer clear of Nathan? That's

where | draw the line."

But Greta's eyes danced with a mocking glint. She casually wiped the blood from her lips, the crimson trail

snaking down her chin like a fiery centipede, only adding to her mesmerizing presence.

"Oh, so you've got a soft spot. That's just delightful," she said, rising slowly, her words dripping with sarcasm.

"Nathalie, I've got my own limits, and Cameron is mine. You've overstepped with him, yet you expectto back

off from Nathan? Isn't that a bit of a double standard?"

Nathalie furrowed her brow, confused. Had she ever actually crossed paths with Cameron?

To her, Greta seemed unpredictable, guided by her wild emotions. Nathalie didn't even bother to dig deeper.

The dangerous glint in Greta's eyes sent a chill through Nathalie. She quickly hatched a plan. "If you're dead set

on pushing my buttons, do you really think I'd let you near Nathan?"

Greta felt a flicker of fear as she noticed Nathalie's eyes turn cold. "What are you planning?"

Nathalie's voice was icy and detached. "I want you to realize that messing withis a gyou can't win."

Greta trembled slightly.

Nathalie stood up and quietly instructed her bodyguards, "Make it look like an accident-break her legs and leave

her at Rainbow Bridge. Tell Cameron to pick her up. Not a trace left behind." Greta squinted suspiciously, "What

exactly are you up to?"

Nathalie's face remained calm,

almost too serene. "For every ounce

of pain you inflict on Nathan, I'

make sure you feel it a hundredfold." With that, she turned and walked away.

Greta's face went pale, but her stubbornness made her laugh defiantly. "Nathalie, do your worst. I'm not scared."

The bodyguards exchanged knowing glances and gently helped the protesting Greta to her feet.

"Mrs. Dawson, you'd best leave now. Our miss is fuming, and though she told us to rough you up, how could we

possibly do that?"

Instead of harming Greta, they respectfully escorted her to the door, with one even slipping her ssnacks for

the road.

Greta looked at them gratefully. "I

never expected Nathalie's crew to be

so different from her. Thanks for the help. If you're ever looking for a place, cfindat Dawson Estate."

"Absolutely," the bodyguards chimed in, laying on the charm thick. "Working for Mr. Dawson is a dream of ours."

Floored by their flattery, Greta promised, "Because you've been so understanding, I'll definitely speak highly of

you to my husband."

With the mood set, the bodyguards

grew even more complimentary.

"Mrs. Dawson, we should really see

"Thank you," Greta said, expressing her gratitude once more before heading out.
