Rise Online: Return of the Legendary Player
Chapter 575 Og'tharoz's Past (Part 1)
Thanks to the great increase in the movement of people in the Tretidian Capital, the entire stock of items for sale in the Raven's Feather Shop was depleted, because of all the fame the store had achieved due to the support of the Royal Family. Thus, although Og'tharoz had a frightening countenance and did not know how to deal with so many customers bargaining at the same time, Kaizen managed to collect a very large amount of gold coins, and from only 20,000 gold coins his balance jumped to over 100,000, meaning he had over a million dollars again.
As Kaizen was taught how to manage money, he immediately withdrew half of this amount and divided it into several parts. 200,000 dollars he sent to his parents, another 100,000 he paid some future hospital bills, just in case, and finally he put 200,000 dollars in various investments, without leaving it idle in the bank.
This left 50,000 gold coins and since he needed to buy more materials, he ordered a lot more than the last time he spent days and days forging.
On top of all this, he also paid a visit to the Royal Family to check on them. He was relieved to see the Royal Family well and also most of the members of the Royal Guard.
Many soldiers died, mostly from the wall, but luckily Arthas, the Captain of the Royal Guard, managed by a miracle to stay alive and Kaizen's summon Hellround showed an ability it never showed before, being able to heal Arthas with a skill called Hell Embers. Kaizen was a bit surprised, but not that much, because Hellround hadn't shown anything of its potential after evolving.

Steveren was dumbfounded to hear everything Kaizen had to say, and also revealed that he often dreamed of the old kings.
Kaizen was intrigued by King Steveren's revelation. "Do you dream of the ancient kings? What do they tell you?" asked Kaizen, curious.
King Steveren sighed and looked out over the cityscape, leaning on the balcony where they stood. "Ever since I received the King's Sword, I have had recurring dreams of my predecessors who ruled this kingdom. They tell me stories, teachings, and sometimes give me glimpses of the past. It is as if their souls are connected to the sword and they share their wisdom with me."
"That's..." said Kaizen, noticing the similarity to Aelon's lines. "The King's Sword has a deep connection to the history of the kingdom, and you seem to be the main link between the ancient kings and the present."
"Yes, it is quite a responsibility..." replied King Steveren. "But it is also a blessing. This connection helps me to make important decisions for the future of our kingdom, even though they did not warn me about my former wife."
Kaizen felt a sense of admiration and respect for King Steveren, so he laughed at his joke and toasted with the goblet he held in his hands, laughing together. More than ever, Kaizen knew how ruling a kingdom was not just about crowns and power, but also about carrying the weight of history and decisions that would affect the lives of many people. He was feeling that weight now too.
"I'm sure he will continue to do a great job just by being alive, as a king." Kaizen with sincerity. "The fact that you are here, with them, overcoming these adversities and withstanding these attacks, gives them strength to continue as well."
"I hope it stays that way." Steveren replied.
"And know that you can always count on Raven's Feather to help in any way necessary. I have a new batch of very good ores, if you are interested in renewing your army's armament."
King Steveren smiled gratefully. "Thank you, Kaizen. I know I can trust you with my life. So I want you to keep the King's Sword, at least until all this is over. It will be safer with you and I feel I will be protecting my daughters as well."
Kaizen nodded in agreement, after all he had no plans to return the sword considering it is the only Divine ranked item he has ever heard of.
After the conversation with King Steveren, Kaizen bid farewell to the Royal Family and returned to Raven's Feather, where Og'tharoz and Alina were busy arranging some books on the library shelves.
"How was the visit to the castle?" asked Alina, curious, as she saw him coming down the spiral stairs of the library.

Alina, who was a very wise mage, stopped what she was doing and answered:
"Considering that the Spelloyal have elven blood, it is not surprising. For some reason, Elves have a connection with their descendants."
Kaizen agreed, reflecting on the elven blood of the Royal Family. "That makes sense. Maybe that's why King Steveren has these dreams. Not to mention, the power of his sword."
"Elven magic is very powerful and can transcend the barriers of time and space. Maybe it's something like that."
"Regardless of the reason, it is an extraordinary ability," Kaizen said. "It seems that the King's Sword and the Royal Family are more connected to the history of Midgard than I realized."
As they talked, Og'tharoz approached, a curious look on his face. "What are you two talking about?"
"We are talking about King Steveren's dreams of the ancient kings of the realm." explained Alina.
Og'tharoz frowned. "That is interesting. It means that the King's Sword really does have a special power. In fact, it reminds me of when I first met the old king here."
Kaizen immediately crossed his arms and nodded quietly, as if in agreement, until he reasoned over what Og'tharoz said.
"What?!! Did you meet the former king?!" Kaizen and Alina asked simultaneously, surprised.
