Aster fidgeted and asked, “Mommy, is Uncle Kevan feeling better?”
“I guess.” Larissa was not too sure, but Kevan was sleeping well, and he did not say anything crazy. He
had to feel much better now.
“You guess?” Aster was not satisfied with her answer and he scolded her with a serious demeanor
which was not quite fitting for his age.” Mommy, how could you be so irresponsible?”

Aster pushed her. “Hurry and go take care of Uncle Kevan! What if he relapses or something? I can
sleep on my own, I don’t need you to sleep with me!
“What are you talking about?” Larissa closed her eyes and yawned widely. “I’m tired. If you’re so
worried about your Uncle Kevan, feel free to go over and take care of him yourself.”

eyes and stayed still, but he listened carefully.

Kevan doubted his words. Based on his understanding of Larissa, she would never let a child take care
of a sick person. This kid was honestly ingenious indeed. He kept trying to matchmake him and Larissa
these days. Kevan was happy to see it come to fruition, so he naturally would not expose the kid.
“Really?” He went with what Aster said. “Well, thank you for your hard work.”
“No way! It’s not hard at all Aster hugged Kevan tighter. “I like Uncle Kevan. My mommy also likes
Uncle Kevan. We’re taking care of you willingly, so we don’t think it’s hard work.”
Even though he knew Aster was only consoling him, Kevan’s heart fell warm anyway.
“Your mommy likes me too?‘ he deliberately asked.
“Of course!” Aster replied with certainly. “My mommy has never been so nice to other uncles!”
