Chapter 590
As Bartham was the leading city out of all the major cities, all transport Unes and power were swiftly restored after
the storm. It was only around 8 am when Gary rushed over to the hospital with Lewis in tow, yanking Kevan-who
was still asleep in the chair-up and chasing him out, “Mr. Rogers, you can go now.”
Kevan had slept for less than two hours, and he could barely keep his eyes open. But his back straightened up out
of habit as he sat back dazedly in the chair, which made him look kind of cute.
Larissa could not bear it and told Gary, “Let him sleep for a little while longer.”
Her plea only caused the jealousy in Gary’s heart to bum hotter. But he could not say any words of denial to her, so
he could only compromise. “Isn’t the ward next door empty? Let the nurse know that he will be going over there to
sleep. To show his “consideration,” Gary added. “So that we won’t disturb him here.”

one was fairly expensive. When regular wards are not filled up, almost no one would stay in a VIP ward, so the idea
of using up resources unnecessarily was unfounded.
However, before she could agree, Kevan woke up completely. “No need.” His bleary eyes gradually became clear,
and he rose up from the chair. Til head right back,”
The clothes he was wearing yesterday had been sent to the laundry room by Mrs. Griffin, and they had been
cleaned, dried, and returned. The hospital’s laundry room was not as professional as laundromats cutside though,
and Mrs. Griffin had not paid much attention to it. So, the custom tailor-made shirt had a few creases on it, making
it look crumpled.
Kevan frowned.
Knowing his temperament, Larissa was afraid that he might get angry at Mrs. Griffin, so she hurriedly found an
excuse to get Mrs. Griffin out of the ward. Mrs. Griffin rubbed her hands and prepared to leave when Kevan stopped
her.
“Mrs. Griffin.” His expression was mild, and there was a faint smile on his lips, his voice surprisingly humble, “Thank
you for your hard work.”
A little flattered, Mrs. Griffin quickly waved her hand, stammering. “N-No worries! Not at all?
Kevan brought his clothes with him into the bathroom to get changed. When he came out in the same getup from
yesterday, the bedraggled mess that was him yesterday no longer existed. He exuded an elegant air that could not
be deterred by the wrinkled shirt.
Larissa’s eyes brightened, and Gary’s expression grew more and more sour. He could bother to be graceful any
longer and waved his hand Imitably, “Shool Get out now, Go!”
Kevan heeded him, bidding Larissa goodbye before he left. “See you tonight.”

Gary exploded at once. “Why is he still coming over tonight? What for?”
His reaction amused Larissa so much that she was not sure if she should laugh or cry. “He wants to call Aster, and I
want to listen,” she explained.
Gary had long known about his grandson but was unable to meet him officially in person. “When are you going to
introduce me to Aster?” he grumbled sourly, clearly filled with jealousy.
Having spent time with Gary during these few days, Larissa had long since seen the true lace he hid behind a mild-
mannered mask-petty. a grudge holder, and a person with a penchant for sulking.
Seeing that his emotions were off, she immediately promised him. “Once I’ve recovered fully. I let you both meet.”
Only then did Gary let her off the h ook, but he still minded a bit about Kevan, “So, he will be coming every night
then? Upon receiving Larissa’s affirmative answer, his expression darkened so much that one would think his face
was a thundercloud, but he could not explode.
“I must be here when he comes.” he emphasized strongly.
Larissa agreed helplessly. “Okay, okay, okay!”
