Chapter 915
“Take a moment to think about where Freddy might go–like the places he usually loves going or his close friends‘
houses.” Larissa suggested. “By the way, have you called the police? They will take care of this, won’t they?”
“I haven’t contacted the police yet,” Allen said, “I’ve also just received the news from the nanny a while ago. She
thought Freddy had sneakily gone out to play. But when she couldn’t find him after looking for him around the
school she panicked.
“I’m heading to Freddy’s favorite spots now. Larissa, can you help to keep an eye out too? Freddy loves and trusts
you the most. If he runs away from home, it’s very likely that he will go to you. Moreover…” He trailed off,
seemingly hesitating to continue speaking.
“What?” Larissa asked.

before. I’m worried that he might be suffering from depression.”
That was a bolt out of the blue. Larissa was stunned. She knew that something was wrong with Freddy, but little did
she expect it to be because of her.
A wave of guilt stirred up in her, “Tell me the places he loves to go. I help look for him too.”
“I know you’re worried about Freddy, but it’s okay.” Allen refused. “You must be spending time with your family at
home, so I won’t bother you anymore. If Freddy really looks for you later, please let me know.”
“I’m outside now and don’t have anything urgent to deal with,” Larissa said. “We can find Freddy faster when there
is more help.”
Allen pondered for a while before replying. “Alright, then. Thanks, Larissa,”
After that, Larissa took out a pen and paper from her bag to jot down the places he mentioned.
When she hung up her phone, Lewis asked, “Who is missing?”
“My ex–superior’s son, Freddy. He is about Aster’s age and goes to the same kindergarten as him. He left on his
own after school ended today and hasn’t gone home until now. I need to help look for him.”
Upon packing up her stuff, she stretched out her hand toward Lewis. “Give me your car keys.”
She had hitched a ride in his car to get here. Hence, her car was still parked downstairs at the company at the
moment.
Lewis grabbed his clothes and said, “I’ll go with you. It’s late now. It’s not safe for a woman like you to wander
around at this hour.”
Larissa went to the places Allen gave her one after another, starting from the one nearest to her. Parks,
amusement parks, theaters–shel asked everyone around, but none of them had seen Freddy.
In the end, she had no choice but to let Lewis drive around the kindergarten aimlessly.

Alter driving around the same area for the third time. Lewis said. “Tell your friend to call the police.”
As soon as Larissa dialed Allen’s number, she inadvertently turned her head around and caught sight of a small
figure in the narrow alley by the roadside.
“Quick, reverse the car!” She ended the call in a hurry and stulled her phone back into her bag.
Before Lewis could stop his car properly, Larissa had already unbuckled her seatbelt and trolled over to the pitch–
black alley. In the darkness, she managed to find the trembling little boy curling up next to the loud trash bin.
“Freddy, is that you?” she asked loudly, fearing that the other party couldn’t hear her voice clearly.
There wasn’t any response.
“Freddy? Larissa walked over and finally crouched before him.
Lewis caught up with her in time. His phone flashlight shone on the child’s face.

Instead of saying anything. Freddy lowered his head, remaining silent.
