Systemless in a Parallel World

Glutton devoured the Green Giant's body and digested it in less than a minute. Several Soul Orbs ended up in Zayn's hand, and his Army received a few recruits, a Soul Knight Giant Spirit.

"Since I will get a few more Giant Spirits soon, I will call you guys Gigas," He said with a faint smile on his lips before absorbing one of the Soul Orbs.

Digesting the ownerless soul particles that entered his body didn't take long. However, Zayn waited as long as possible while looking at his surroundings.

'No change? The Tower's sentients don't care that I'm filling my third Soulring?'

[Maximum resting time has been reached. If the Challenger doesn't intend to continue the challenge of the Cavern Tower, now is the last opportunity to leave!]

Zayn didn't want to leave so he remained quiet. He retrieved Giga and collected the battle-axe before his body began to shine brightly.

He was teleported to the second floor.

His surrounding area didn't change much when he appeared on the second floor. It was just a tad larger than the first floor.

[The Second Floor's Challenge will commence in ten seconds.

[Condition to pass the 2nd Floor's challenge – Survive 10 Minutes.]

[Requirement to advance to the 3rd Floor – Eliminate all eliminates in 10 Minutes.]

The requirements didn't change at all. That was quite interesting.

However, even more interesting was that the Green Giant's rank was still the same as before. In fact, the amount of soul particles in their body was exactly the same as the Green Giant from the first floor's challenge.

'The Tower doesn't adjust the challenge's difficulty according to the increase in the soul particles I absorbed after the first challenge began? Well, that makes things even easier for me!'

Ten Green Giants appeared this time. This was a sudden increase but not actually something Zayn had to worry about. He released Tera, Aero, and the ten Winged Serpents, the Aerial Hunters, and started the hunt.

Using Tera's Earth Magic, combined with the Gaja's Wand of Apprentice, the ten Green Giants sunk into the ground. Earth Spikes shot out of the ground around them, piercing their calves, further restraining the Green Giants.

At the same time, the Aerial Hunters moved rapidly. Aero created a dozen wind streams which the Aerial Hunters used accurately to ride on them with terrific velocity. Their movements were rapid and their attack merciless.

Fountains of blood splattered through the arena and one Green Giant after another slumped lifelessly to the ground, their necks ripped apart.

[The Second Floor has been cleared. Time required 31 seconds. A new record has been listed. Congratulations!]

[Additional rewards have been added. Rewards can be claimed upon leaving the Tower.]

[Proceed to the next Floor?]

"Let me rest."

Glutton was summoned while the other Spirits were retrieved. Zayn collected the Green Giant's battle axes after he collected their Soul Wisps to use Spirit Manifestation on them.

Five minutes later, ten Gigas joined his Army of Spirits. At the same time, the soul particles inside his third Soulring increased drastically.

'Glutton is really the best,' Zayn marveled.

With the ownerless soul particles he received from Glutton's Soul Orbs, Zayn's strength increased barely enough to make some space to add a new Spirit to his Army. In return, that meant, every kill he made in the Cavern Tower would result in an easygoing expansion of his Army.

Was this actually a dream?

'Fortunately, the Green Giants are very nutritious, otherwise, a single corpse would never provide enough ownerless soul particles to fit a Green Giant Spirit.'

Now that the second challenge ended, Zayn was teleported to the third floor. This time, 100 Mid-level Soul Knight Green Giants materialized.

It was only the 3rd Floor but a total of 100 enemies at the same rank appeared. If not for his Spirits, Zayn would be certain to lose this round.

Fortunately, he still had his Spirits. He summoned all of them and let them loose the moment the 3rd Challenge began.

Zayn first thought of using certain tactics to overwhelm the Green Giants but he had already realized that the Green Giants didn't have much combat experience. They were powerful according to their physique and strength, but they didn't know how to use their strength properly.

That was weird considering that Giants were known for being a race of Warriors, but Zayn didn't really mind it. He could sharpen the Gigas by throwing them onto the battlefield over and over again. That was exactly what he did right now.

Instead of telling all of his Spirits to attack simultaneously, he gave the 11 Gigas their battle axes while telling them to obliterate the 100 Green Giants.

Of course, they would never be able to kill them alone, but that was not really a problem. Saber and the Assault Pack moved around the 100 Green Giants, while Aero and the Aerial Hunters prepared to launch a deadly assault. On the other hand, The Defense Horde, Mocalw, and the other Human Spirits remained next to Zayn.

Glutton released a few energy balls, bursting a few heads, while Tera trolled the Green Giants, restricting their movement while simultaneously further enraging them.

'I wonder how many will be able to pass this round. Only two or three Green Giants can fight a single Blessed or Normie at the same time because the Giants take up too much space when surrounding humans, but facing a hundred of them is still a quite hard challenge. That's just the third floor, after all.'

Despite only being a one-star tower, the difficulty level seemed quite high. While that was a slight surprise, it was actually advantageous for Zayn.

'I should be able to get the Fallen Civilization's Inheritance if I clear all challenges with flying colors. If it's a memory crystal of their knowledge, that would be pretty good!'

Zayn was sure that none of the Blessed and Normies present had an advantage similar to his. His Spirits were an overwhelming advantage, something he had to make use of, if he didn't want to lose out.

He was one step closer to finding members of the Normie Union and would leave the Silverflame Camp the moment he finished the Cavern Tower, either way.

That meant he could go all out and increase his strength as much as possible.

'If someone bothers me, I just tell them that I found a treasure in the Cavern Tower. 'It provided me a tremendous amount of soul particles hehe~', or something like that should be fine!'

Zayn was not actually worried about the reaction of others. According to the information he gathered about Towers in mankind's territory, unique situations occurred quite often. Apparently, there were even Blessed who came out with a second, or even third Blessing after they cleared a Tower.

With that in mind, it wouldn't be too shocking if his Soul Rank increased a little bit.

'I wonder if I can complete the third Soulring in the tower…'
