Clearing the 5th Floor was no problem for Zayn and his Spirits

It seemed even easier than the 4th since he could throw numbers at the hundred Green Giants and ten Berserker Giants. At first, he had been worried that ten Berserker Giants were too much to handle but it worked out much better than expected.

Some of his Spirits died but that was no problem since they were sucked back into the Grimoire of the Ancient where they could regenerate. Once the challenge was over, they regained their soul particles, bringing them back to life.

Manifesting the 100 Green Giants and ten Berserker Giants increased the number of his Spirits drastically once again. This time, however, Zayn felt that he was slowly reaching his limit.

It was not as if he couldn't manifest more Spirits but that the number of Green Giant Spirits shouldn't be increased too much anymore.

After all, he would have to cope with the aftermath if each of his Spirit was to increase their strength. The toll on his body and soul would be a little bit burdensome.

'In the worst case, I will just fuse my Spirits…once I get hold of the Fusion technique…' Zayn thought, hoping that it was only a matter of time before the Grimoire of the Ancient would reveal the technique he desired.

After the fifth challenge had been completed, Zayn's third Soulring was filled by 80%.

He proceeded to the next floor without thinking too much about it, only to freeze in his tracks.

"What the hell…"

The sixth floor was ginormous in size, and so was the army of monsters that materialized in front of him.

A total of 500 Green Giants and 25 Berserker Giants appeared!!

'Do they really want someone to complete their challenge, or are they just trying to kill every challenger who comes this far?'

Zayn was a little shocked, but that was not something anyone could hold him accountable for.

Fortunately, he had 311 Gigas and 11 Berserker Gigas. With these numbers, combined with his other Spirits and Zayn's active support, it should be possible to clear the floor.

However, Zayn didn't know what would await him on the seventh floor. That was a little worrisome…but also exciting!

He summoned all of his Spirits, retrieved countless Artifacts and Soul Knight Armaments, and got ready. His Bow Artifact and a quiver with more than a hundred high-quality arrows had been retrieved, and the challenge of the 7th Floor commenced.

Zayn immediately nocked an arrow to the bowstring while channeling soul particles inside the tip of the arrow and the Bow Artifact.

The Bow Artifact began to glow in an azure blue light as blue flames shot out of it. The flames coated the arrow whose tip began to shine in vibrant gold.

Zayn used the Soulblade technique in concentrated form, enhancing the penetrative might of the arrow. He pulled the bowstring back, aimed meticulously, and shot.

The moment he released the arrow, a strong gust of wind shrouded the arrow. The arrow was pushed ahead, its speed accelerating and the azure flames engulfing it flaring up. Then, the arrow hit the target.

Blazing azure flames erupted when the arrow pierced through the first Berserker Giant's eyes. The Berserker Giant's head turned into a living torch and screams of utter pain spread through the entire floor.

However, neither Zayn nor his Spirits paid any heed to this. Aero continued to support Zayn as he continued to release one arrow after another.

The Berserker Giants didn't know what happened until it was too late. Their heads were set ablaze, they weren't able to think straight and forget about being able to see properly.

Thus, 11 Berserker Gigas and a bunch of powerful Spirits were all it took to eliminate the 25 Berserker Giants.

After they were eliminated, the 500 Green Giants were nothing but child's play.

Problems only appeared after everyone was dead.

Just like before, Glutton was told to digest the dead bodies. It would take a while to digest 525 corpses but the resting period seemed to increase with each passed challenge. He had more than enough time to reconsider what he should do right now.

'The moment I tell all Spirits to increase their strength, close to a thousand Spirits will start gathering soul particles. Even an average of one soul particle an hour would be equivalent to a thousand more soul particles spread throughout the Army of his Spirits. My body and soul won't be able to handle the toll of thousands of Spirits increasing their strength while my strength remains the same.

I shouldn't increase the number of ordinary Gigas too much from now on. The Berserk Gigas are already more than enough to handle most problems.'

While Zayn was trying to figure out how to balance expanding his Spirit Army without harming his body long-term, he Manifested the Spirits of the Berserker Giants. He was also unwilling to have a weird odd number of Green Giant Spirits, which is why he ended up manifesting 189 additional Gigas. With that, a neat army of 500 Gigas had been formed.

It was quite satisfying to look at, and it gave him enough leeway to absorb the ownerless soul particles of the remaining 311 Soul Wisps. Since he didn't want to summon more Green Giants, he could absorb their Soul Wisps' ownerless soul particles without any issues.

His 3rd Soulring amassed soul particles even faster now even without Glutton's hard work. However, it was only thanks to Glutton that Zayn could actually complete his third Soulring.

Absorbing more and more Soul Orbs after all Soul Wisps had either been deprived of their soul particles or manifested in the form of Spirits, Zayn caused his Soulring to overflow with soul particles.

That was his sign to start the sealing process of his 3rd Soulring. Filled to the brim, without leaving the smallest spot void of soul particles, the third Soulring was completed in the next few days.

Zayn didn't expect the Tower AI to give challengers such a long resting period but he was happy.

After all, he officially advanced in the Soul Ranks and became a full-fledged Soul Lord, just like that.

'Now it's time to absorb more soul particles to make sure that I can construct the 4th Soulframe soon! I need more power to get my hands on more Spirits hahaha~!!'

Zayn was getting excited. He had yet to start the 8th Floor but he could clearly tell that he was getting greedy.

But that was fine. His greed allowed him to grow stronger, much faster than anyone else, at that!
