Chapter 1602

The two waited in the courtyard for a while before a chubby man hastily came running toward them.

The man appeared before James and greeted him respectfully, “You should have informed me of your arrival beforehand, Mr. Caden. And you people! How could you not

invite them in after they arrived?

“Please, after you, Mr. Caden,” Zaiden, the Patriarch of the Sullivans, invited James and Quincy in.

After they entered, he breathed a sigh of relief.

Zaiden had heard of what James was capable of, especially his fierce battle against Tobias at the Mount Thunder Sect. James had now become invincible. He could not afford

to offend such a man.

In the Sullivans’ foyer…

Zaiden stood by the side.

James looked at him and said, “Have a seat, Zaiden.”

Only then did Zaiden take a seat before looking at James and asking him respectfully, “May I ask what business you have with the Sullivans?”

James said smilingly, “Why? Can’t I simply pay the Sullivans a visit?”

Zaiden had a rough idea of why James came, and he was prepared to make a decision. Now, he was only a step away from officially announcing it to the world.

Zaiden said, smiling, “Surely you jest, Mr. Caden. Why don’t you cut to the chase?”

James did not beat around the bush. “Mr. Sullivan, you should know that I have established a chamber of commerce and even took over the Lees’ businesses. Meanwhile,

Maxine Caden of the Caden family is on my side. Not only that, but there’s also the Mount Thunder Sect, my wife Thea Callahan, and the Sect Leader of the Celestial Sect…”

He immediately began boasting about his strength.

“Over the past hundred years since Orient Commerce was established, it has committed many unscrupulous deeds. So, I plan to make a move against them in the very near

future. As I believe that you’re a man of upright character, I came here to notify you in advance. I also sincerely hope that you’ll leave Orient Commerce as soon as possible.”

Though James claimed to be offering Zaiden suggestions, he was in fact threatening him.

“I see.” Zaiden said with a smile, “What a coincidence! I was just thinking of pulling out of Orient Commerce and joining New Era Commerce. How does that sound?”

“That sounds marvelous,” James said smilingly.

Then, Zaiden’s expression turned grim, and he asked, “Mr. Caden, could you tell me more about your future course of action?”

James said nonchalantly, “To be frank, now that Lucjan Owen, the Sect Leader of the Gu Sect, is dead and Callan Maverick is standing firmly on my side, I plan to annihilate the

Gu Sect.”

Upon hearing this, Zaiden took a deep breath.

Even Lucjan was dead. Now that he was dead, the Gu Sect was over.

Who else in Sol could stand in James’ way? His ascension to supremacy was set in stone.

Upon hearing James’ words, he was determined to leave Orient Commerce and join James’ side.

“I’ll head over to the company and hold a meeting immediately.” Looking at James, he gave his assurances. “In three days, the Sullivans will break off all relationships with

Orient Commerce.”

“I’m glad to know that. By the way, sorry for the interruption.”

James simply stood up and left.

Quincy did not say anything and followed close behind.

After they left, Zaiden’s body went limp, and he collapsed onto the sofa.

He had no other choice now.

James’ strength was too terrifying. Even the Celestial Sect alone would be too much for the Sullivans to bear. Besides, James was the commander-in-chief and Dragon King of

the Southern Plains and the commander-in-chief of the Red Flame Army.

He was unmatched in all of Sol.
