Chapter 2056

To the Outsiders, Earthlings were sinners and deserved to die. Although the Outsiders regarded the earthlings as

lesser beings, they never thought of genocide.

This was because there was still a staunch defender among the earthlings-the Omniscient. Deity.

Even though he was slightly weaker compared to Tristen and the others, he was not a simple pushover.

Veins popped on James’ forehead when he heard the threat to eradicate cities. He looked at the Son of Heaven,

who was already walking away, and clenched his fist. “Go ahead if you have the guts, Son of Heaven. I’ll get rid of

you before you can even wipe out even a single person.”

James spoke calmly, but there was no humor in his tone. He was ready to kill if the Son of Heaven insisted on

eradicating cities.

“Let’s go.”

James did not stick around in Hazted City and left with the three college students. He escorted them out of Mount

Bane’s range and led them to a city.

Outside the city, James looked at the three exhausted women and said, “You guys should go back to where you

were originally. I still have important affairs to resolve and won’t be able to accompany you guys the entire way

back.”

The three women looked at James.

“Your Majesty, thank you for saving our lives.”

One of the women was the first to speak out and and bowed to James.

The other two followed suit and thanked James for rescuing them.

James gently waved his hand and said, “Go on.”

After he finished speaking, James turned and left.

James did not return to Hazted City but walked toward the mountain range where the Celestial Abode was located.

The Son of Heaven gave him three days. If everything went as planned, he should be able to pass through the ninth

barrier and become the Celestial Abode’s master within three days.

He knew that obtaining the Celestial Abode would draw the Outsiders’ interest.

There were countless challenges that he would have to face soon.

To prevent troubles from cropping up, he would need to make a show of his strength, and beating up the Son of

Heaven was the perfect way to achieve that.

James wanted to kill the Son of Heaven in the view of other Outsiders to prove the strength of Earth’s martial

artists.

He wanted to show them humans from Earth were not to be trifled with and that anyone who went against martial

artists from Earth would face severe consequences.

James made his way toward the mountain range where the Celestial Abode was located.

Soon, he arrived on the mountain that the Celestial Abode hoverd over.

The Celestial Abode remained in the same spot for two years.

In the past two years, many Outsiders appeared on Earth. These people were not just from the Overworld but

came from various other worlds too. Despite that, no matter how many people challenged the Celestial Abode’s

barriers, none were capable of claiming it.

Although many who tried also reached the ninth barrier, not a single person successfully passed it.

Many martial artists were gathered outside the Celestial Abode’s entrance, all discussing ways to obtain the abode.

“I think we should just give up. Even a strong man like Tristen could not pass through the ninth barrier. After

challenging it countless times, he’s already given up.”

“I heard many powerhouses are meditating in seclusion to condense their True Energy to make themselves

stronger before they return to rechallenge the barriers.”

“I wonder who’ll claim the Celestial Abode in the end.”

As soon as James approached the Celestial Abode’s gateway, he heard the crowd’s excited clamoring.

He paid them no mind and walked up directly to the gateway. He stepped into the golden gateway, and his vision

went blurry. The next moment, he found himself in a place that was both familar yet unfamiliar at the same time.

It felt familiar because he had been here before.

The unfamiliar feeling was because everything in front of him seemed unbelievable.

He stood on a mountaintop.

Two years ago, he reached the ninth barrier. He was unsure whether he would have to work his way up again or if

he would he go straight to the ninth barrier after returning.

However, it did not matter to him.

Since he reached the sixth barrier through his own effort two years ago, reaching the ninth barrier would be easier

this time because he was no longer the same as he was back then.
