talked listlessly, “I told you it won’t work. The police left after a few simple questions. Maximus should have been
notified by now. In time, he will retaliate against our action.” Hearing this, Gladys was gripped with fear.
She pulled at Thea’s sleeve, “Thea, these people are vicious and cold blooded. We shouldn’t get involved with them.
Since you have money on your card, why don’t you just pay them off? That’ll settle all their problems.” David
chimed in, “That’s right. I’m begging you, please. We still have time. Just withdraw the money!.”
Thea stood up and told them off, “David, you were the one who caused this. Why do I have to clean up your mess?”

crying over spilled milk. She stood up and reprimanded Thea, “Someone else gave you the money in the first place.
Why can’t you just use it to save your brother? He’s your only brother! Are you really willing to watch him jump off
