276 Itching to hit someone
Yi Chen knew how emotional Zi Han was when it came to this so he could only ask Zi Han to give him a chance to speak to him first. If he can’t find anything then he would call him to come in.
Zi Han was itching to hit someone but he stayed back sitting on the swiveling chair observing the situation.
As soon as Yi Chen entered the restrain room Li Ran sat next to Zi Han while patting the little guy in his arms. “Are you two okay? You seem to be fighting a lot lately,” said Li Ran genuinely concerned.
Zi Han knew that Li Ran’s question was coming from a place of concern so he didn’t feel like he was overstepping. Instead, he said, “It’s nothing. Getting angry with your partner is perfectly normal and healthy thus there is no need to be concerned.”
Li Ran nodded his head in agreement. He even lost count of how many times Hela either scolded him or kicked him out. In Hela’s defense, Li Ran had a very loose tongue. One time Hela was having the nastiest period cramps and called Li Ran to get her some medicine.
Li Ran was so diligent. He prepared a care package and brought it over. It seemed he would get a straight A plus up front but he just had to say, “Here you go my little ketchup packet,” the moment he walked in.
At that time Hela couldn’t believe he said that. Who the fuck says that to a woman enduring pain equivocal to that of a heart attack? Well, he got what was coming to him. He was kicked out and it took two weeks for him to crawl back into Hela’s arms.

Meanwhile, Yi Chen was already sitting opposite the boy scrolling through his recordedd activities in Seon ever since he appeared.
.....
The planets in the Federation were highly surveilled not only for protection but also because the prime ministers were so paranoid. They didn’t want to be blindsided by someone attempting to overthrow the government system thus the federation was extremely surveilled with only a few exceptions like the slums where the equipment would get damaged or stolen constantly.
It was because of this they could trace every step this young man took in Seon.
“You are very resourceful, aren’t you,” he said but the boy didn’t raise his head. He kept his head down, eyes shut and his lips closed.
Yi Chen didn’t mind him playing possum. He continued saying, “You took advantage of the kindness of both old and young citizens of the federation knowing full well that you had already sentenced them to death. Is this how the Republic operates?”
The young man who had his head lowered finally showed signs of movement. With drops of tears falling to the ground he whimpered softly making it seem like he had been bullied.
His shoulders trembled and he broke down the whimpers getting louder. Yi Chen continued wearing a blank expression his eyes indifferent even as the boy raised his tear-stained face.
The young man’s whimpers drastically turned to laughter laced with cynicism. “Ahahaha ha ha hahaha. All I had to do was show them this face and they were more than willing to help me. They were right. You federation scum don’t know the meaning of suffering.”
“If you had witnessed the scene of sons killing their fathers for a grain of rice and mothers eating their own children so as not to starve to death they wouldn’t trust so much. They wouldn’t extend a hand to any pitiful thing that limps their way.”
His bloodshot eyes turned crazed as he jerked forward as though trying to free himself and attack Yi Chen but the person opposite remained aloof with no reaction like he was nothing in the man’s eyes. This further fueled his anger.
“I don’t care about what you did in Seon. I am more interested in this person,” said Yi Chen as he showed a modified image to best suit his Royal highness’ current age.
When the boy saw this image his eyes cleared his body trembled. His face suddenly turned grim and wailed the veins on his temples throbbing as he broke down. He murmured, “Stor F?niks... stor F?niks,” over and over again like he was mourning someone very important to him.
Yi Chen banged the table with his palm and shouted, “Hey, focus... where is this person?”
The boy was engulfed by his tremulous emotions that he began to violently jerk back and forth on the chair he was tied on shouting, “You Federation scum used him... You used him till his body was destroyed. When we finally got him back he couldn’t even speak nor could he talk. You did that. I will avenge you Stor F?niks!”
Yi Chen, “...”
Zi Han, “...”

Zi Han couldn’t take it anymore. He stormed into the room and directly kicked the chair the boy was sitting on. The chair was bolted to the ground but because he had an SS mental rank the chair’s legs tore from the ground and the boy fell over.
Zi Han was under the control of his emotions with the ‘act first’ principle kicking in. He locked the young man in a chokehold and asked, “Where is he?.... TELL ME!!!” his voice getting louder.
The young man gasped for air as he broke down crying sorrowfully. “He died... he died in front of us. Wuwuwu our salvation died. They said he would be reborn but he was reborn in the Federation. Why does the Federation receive such favors when they are evil?”
Pressing his tongue against his cheek Zi Han resisted the urge to strangle him to death. He violently knocked him back to the ground and got up breathing deeply.
“Han Han,” called out Yi Chen walking towards him but Zi Han raised his finger to stop him. He was not in the right emotional state right now. His body was trembling and his eyes were dark like that of a beast on the verge of exploding. It seemed any small thing could set him off.
While he was closing his eyes trying to calm himself down the young man who was lying on the ground crying suddenly crawled over like a worm towards Zi Han’s legs.
During the scuffle just now the pendant of Igneous around his neck had come out from underneath his gear and the boy who had seen this symbol everywhere in the Republic immediately identified it.
“Stor F?niks,” he muttered while crawling over.
Zi Han, “...”
He was so fed up that he wanted to go directly to the Republic and assassinate whoever came up with that absurd name.
