535 HanChen guardian angels
“Here is a hin-,” said Lynn Feng only for Yi Chen to cut her off.
“No... I don’t need it,” he said before walking away. After he left, Lynn Feng pulled up a floating screen and wrote Zi Han a message.
FloweringFeng: He doesn’t want it.
Zi Han swiped down the notification bar and smiled slightly. Of course, Yi Chen wouldn’t want a hint. Since that was the case then he might be getting married after ten years.
Chen’sWife: Of course, he wouldn’t.
Chen’sWife: Thanks anyway, Auntie Lynn.
Yi Chen who had no idea that his boyfriend was trying to help him took a minute trying to think through Zi Han’s thought process.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtIt had to be in a place that Zi Han either frequented or a place he keeps his favourite things. The ring wasn’t in the training hall neither was it in the kitchen and the bridge.
The only place left was the armoury. It had to be there but Yi Chen wasn’t even sure if he had access to the armoury. It was one of the most sacred places on the Han warship. It was the place that housed their most secretive and advanced weaponry.
.....
Yi Chen still walked over there and the closer he was to this place the more of the Bloodgarde members he met. Unlike yesterday’s hostility, today it seemed like they were lukewarm and some even had a welcoming look.
When he reached the armoury he was met by a guy twice his size in both height and width with a burn scar running down his left eye.
When the two people’s gazes met Yi Chen almost thought they were going to fight. It would only make sense since they were enemies on different sides for a very long time.
As the man stood up Yi Chen took a step back but what happened next was beyond his expectation.
The big man showed an excited expression and exclaimed, “Marshal Yi can you sign this for me. I am a huge fan of your CP,” pulling up a cute chibi drawing of him and Zi Han.
Seeing this familiar art Yi Chen’s brows arched. Who else could it be other than Hela? Her account was a menace to others on StarNet but to him, it was a source of inspiration.
Where on earth would a block of wood know how to do a perfect wall slam? Where would he without experience learn about having an indirect kiss? He surely owed Hela a red envelope for her major contributions.
“Uh... um. Sure,” he said and reached out his hand. A three dimensional pen showed up on the floating screen and he signed the cute drawing of himself kissing Zi Han’s cheek cutely.
“Thank you and we are all rooting for you,” said the big man before giggling like a little schoolgirl.
Yi Chen, “...”
“Oh, thanks,” he said a little hesitant to speak, “how can I get inside?”
The man was a little puzzled by the question but he still answered, “Marshal, you have access to the entire warship for at least four years now... see.”
He pulled out a notification that was sent four years ago by Zi Han. That is to say, Zi Han granted him access to the entire warship and no one was allowed to stop him wherever he wanted to go.
“Oh... then I will be going,” he said and the man waved at him a little too enthusiastic.
Just as he took a step forward he halted and turned to ask, “Just curious. Are there a lot of fans on the warship?”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏm“Yes of course. We have a chat group called HanChen angels. We are your love guardians,” replied the man, and Yi Chen had no words. Who would have thought there were people out there called HanChen guardian angels watching over his relationship with Zi Han? He was quite flattered.
When he entered the armoury his eyes were dazzled. He knew that the Bloodgarde was packing so much firearms but he didn’t think it would be this much. They had an entire five floors packed with all sorts of weapons, some of which he had never seen before.
It was no secret that their technology on firearms was far ahead of the army but he just didn’t think the gap was this huge. This was just on the Han, how much more did they have on the ground?
Yi Chen called out to Raylan and asked it to search for the ring’s signature. There was no way he would finish looking if he did it by himself. Raylan was overwhelmed by the mech weapons and suddenly wanted an upgrade. There was even a baby pink flamethrower. Who didn’t want a baby pink flamethrower?
“Raylan focus,” said Yi Chen as he walked up to the elevator.
“Yes sir,” said Raylan but its eyes kept going back to the flamethrower. It wanted it, it wanted it so bad. Yi Chen thought the elevator would take him to the floors above but when he entered there were buttons for six floors on the display screen.
“Welcome Marshal Yi, which floor will you be visiting today,” said the automated voice after scanning his biometric information.
Yi Chen felt like a warm spring burst in his chest hearing this. Just like him Zi Han’s heart was settled on him to the point that he was including him in his daily life. This was a place Yi Chen probably wouldn’t have gone to in his entire life but Zi Han still gave him access just in case.
“Sixth floor please,” he said and the doors closed. When they opened again he found himself in a room filled with ancestral relics of the Zi family.
There were weapons, uniforms, and portraits of every member of the Zi family throughout the generations. Raylan whose heart was still on the ground floor, thinking about the flamethrower suddenly exclaimed.
“Sir sir sir, I found it. It’s a few feet ahead of you,” it said and Yi Chen rushed over. His steps suddenly slowed when he saw the ring shimmering under the light only that next to the box were similar wedding attires.
His heartbeat sped up as he took a small step forward. This... this was completely unexpected.
