| could see the jealousy in Leo’s eyes. | planned on asking what he was doing here but he grabbed my arm and
began pullingtowards the front door of the cafe. | look back and see Jordan has stood up and | give a small
apologetic smile. | didn’t want him to think Leo was hurtingand | didn’t want either of them to cause a

driver away while we entered.

I'm not having an affair and | can’t believe you would accuseof such a thing!” | was insulted.
He had embarrassed, humiliated and insulted me.
“I won't let anyone take you from me, Claire. | love you.” He was serious. He said this as though it were almost a
guarantee or a threat. | knew Leo would never harmintentionally but it felt like he was becoming desperate
in trying to getback.
| wish he knew that that’s not how this worked. His only enemy when it cto us - was him.

“No, that’s the problem Leo. I'm not yours. I'm not your property, I'm a person. You can’t just keepon a shelf
- waiting for your dedication and attention. Sex won't fix it this time.” | sit up, readjust my dress and look at the
hurt on Leo's face.
