Aristodemus was blind. His story was simple. He was not able to see like others, but rather, he saw mana. Because of that, he could gauge how powerful a person was based on their mana levels.

This did not mean that he could predict a person's strength, but he was able to give a rough estimate. It was thanks to this innate ability that he was able to gauge the power of the foe that his master was about to go against. And without a doubt, this foe outclassed his master by far!

As blasphemous as that sounded in the minds of his fellow summons, it was a truth that he did not intent to hide from Leon.

"I know he's way out of my league. But we'll make it happen somehow. And besides, I have a few trump cards up my sleeve." Leon told them as he finally drew upon as many summons as he thought would be enough for this campaign.

Twenty thousand B rank summons had gathered around Leon. They were his best of the best and had been with him for a long time. At the forefront of them was the millipedes that he had started his journey with.

Onyx watched all this without batting an eyelid. He seemed to respect that unspoken law of letting your opponent ready his strongest move before attacking that some people had passed down over ages.

"So many summons. Indeed, if I can have you as my own, then I will be unstoppable!" Onyx's eyes glowed brightly. "Now! Let us fight! Our battle will be legendary!" He clenched his fist and raised it above his head. That action seemed to be the signal that his summons were waiting for, as a copious amount of his own Demonic summons began to charge at Leon.

Leon's summons also sprung into action following Kaladin's powerful war cry.

"For the Master!"

Boom!

The earth shook as the close combat fighters threw themselves forward. The magic oriented summons in Leon's undead army stayed back as they prepared their most powerful spells. This was a battle of the summons.

Leon stood back as his summons clashed against those of Onyx's. His Dark Wing Eagles scratched, bit and tore apart the summons of the other side, while also sustaining their own casualties.

The Undead Lizardmen that he had gained from the Despair Dungeon also showed off their terrifying prowess with their weapons and magic.

Giant spiders rose up from the ground like small hills. Their eight eyes glowed brightly just before a thick beam of green death was blasted from their gaping maws, killing swathes of Onyx's summons at a time.

Leon's A rank summons were like pillars of his Undead Army. They cleared entire areas of space at a time, untouchable by the many B rank summons that surrounded them.

Kaladin was the most eye catching of them as he possessed the best area of effect abilities. An entire portion of the battlefield was covered by his Domain, the Lightning Field. Nothing caught within the Lightning Field was able to escape as white hell rained down on their heads.

On another part of the battlefield, a red haze blurred the vision of everyone who tried to peer into that Domain. It was not smoke or mist that obscured their visions but thousands of miniature blades. Nero stood still in the center of that Domain, his greatsword held up in front of him, pointing upwards. The black greatsword glowed with red power as the Berserker Knight gathered power in it. His armor had turned red under the effects of his Title - The Dark Knight. Bright red flames burnt behind his armor as he pinned his gaze on Onyx who was floating in the sky high above.

At another area of the battlefield, Grokus was displaying the reason why he was supposed to be the next Chieftain of the Mazuri Tribe. Giant green vines broke through the ground as Grokus displayed a frightening control over his mana. The black tattoos all over his body glowed brightly as he activated his various Sigils. Several stone skulls hung from his waist - his Totems. He had taken the time to rebuild his collection of Totems as they were very practical in battle. They had a force multiplier effect, after all.

On various parts of the battlefield, Leon's A rank elite summons made their mark. There was no opponent aside from Onyx that could put a stop to their rampage.

Onyx watched all this from the sky with surprise. He was sure that these summons were mere Low A ranks. Only just a few of them were anywhere close to Mid A rank. However, the strength displayed by the summons was frightening! If they were this strong, then how strong would Leon be?!

A moment later, Onyx shook his head. There was no need for him to worry. After all, he had his own trump cards. And coincidentally, one of them was perfect for use against large swarms of monsters.

Whoosh!

The wings that had grown on his back flapped and he teleported beside the Diamond Pangolin child that was chained in the middle of the yellow slit of the giant rock in the sky. Artox who had never slowed down with his destruction was startled. He had been stunned when Leon unveiled his powerful army, and that had slowed his advance down a bit. However, he quickly regained his focus and continued making his way to the giant rock.

"Out of my way!" Artox's scales glowed with white light as he paused at the barricade that had been set up by dozens of large three meter tall summons. Mowing through them would take too long so he chose to use another move.

Humm!

The air seemed to buzz before a beam of scorching white plasma was blasted out from Artox's body. The large beam started as dozens of smaller beams before they merged together to create a massive and thick beam that instantly burned through the obstacles in Artox's path.

Boom!

The beam of white light continued as it arced up into the sky, completely under Artox's control. It slammed right into an invisible barrier that Onyx had set up at the last moment around the giant rock eye.

"Do not get in my way." Onyx narrowed his eyes and waved his hand at Artox. Five golden portals opened in the sky around Artox. Within the barriers, golden arcs of energy bubbled and boiled.

The Diamond Pangolin King's eyes widened. He only had a moment to act and curl up into a ball before five thick beams of golden light, that were as thick as the white beam that he had just fired, slammed into him.

Hummm!!!

BOOOOM!!!

A dome of chaotic golden energy expanded where Artox was. Hot wind and molten matter flew all around from the blast radius as it finally exploded outwards. All the monsters and summons caught within the blast radius were instantly reduced to nothing.

Leon held up his arm to his face as he stared, shocked. That was just a casual move from Onyx, yet it had been so powerful. Was this the true strength of Peak A ranks who were ready to surpass the System?

Onyx caught Leon's shocked expression and smirked but he did not say anything. He merely turned back to what he was doing after putting away the weak body of the young Diamond Pangolin. The move he had just displayed was actually quite taxing in terms of his mana consumption. It had consumed about ten percent of his mana, but thankfully, his mana regeneration capabilities were also quite impressive. Already, a quarter of what he had expended was being replaced in such a short amount of time.

He turned back to what he was doing and arrived before a golden throne that was made with golden crystals. He sat down on the throne and it seemed to activate something that was hidden deep within stone eye.

"Now, it is time to witness my true might!" Onyx declared as he got comfortable in his throne. The stone eye trembled slightly before the yellow glow that seemed stable suddenly flared brightly.

Whoosh!

A powerful gust of mana blew over the battlefield as a small yellow mass of mana began to form before the eye. Leon caught sight of this and instantly knew it was bad news. He quickly took to the skies to distance himself from the battlefield. He wanted to see what the eye could do before he thought of attacking up close. He had already seen the barrier that surrounded it and now, he wanted to see its attack power. Only then would he be able to form a proper plan of action.
