Chapter 486: Branh Continued (3)
This feeling lasted for less than five seconds before Branh felt his body become weightless.
Finally not being able to hold back his curiosity, he moved his arms slightly and opened his eyes. He was surrounded by the blue sky on every single side.
"Ah, I messed up," he thought inwardly while peering downwards and noticing what was coming for him.
Branh had covered his eyes from the start so there wasn't much he had seen but from the point of view of the nearby spectators, it was an entirely different situation.
"Clench your teeth," Hao Xuan had warned in the native language before bending his knees and putting some force on the ground below.
A spiderwebbed crack started spreading outwards with Hao Xuan as the center until he finally pushed. The entire area within 20 meters of him turned to dust. His speed surpassed several times the speed of sound which was why no one heard the explosion until it was too late.
Using a simple movement technique without any Qi, Hao Xuan appeared in front of the 3-meter tall Branh before he could even blink. He was almost twice the size of Hao Xuan but that didn't matter anymore.

By the time the spectators saw Hao Xuan, Branh had already broken through the ceiling and flew more than a hundred meters straight up.
*BOOM*
*BOOM*
Both explosions sounded almost at the same time. First one from Hao Xuan's sprint and the second from his punch.
They covered their faces by pure instinct due to shock while many of the soldiers and some nearby nobles were thrown clear off due to the shockwave generated by their impact.
But they didn't even have time to process any of it when Hao Xuan bent his knees again. Ceni, Iris and Klem's eyes widened all at once as all three of them reached out in unison and created three different barriers around him to block off the shockwave.
*BOOOM*
With a defeaning boom, Hao Xuan shot up like a rocket, destroying the few remaining scraps of the great hall that were left standing.
This was his pure force. Each and every muscle on his body was working overtime. He tore through the atmosphere and arrived next to Branh that had just now started freefalling.
"Oi, clench your jaw, what did I say?" his voice rang in Branh's head who was still reeling from shock. He almost cried out loud but there was no time.
Using his thick arms, he pulled them and his legs in to make a ball.
Hao Xuan smiled, "That's good, you might live through this."
He raised his right leg and brought it down above the meatball.
*BOOOOM*
An earthquake jolted the entire 10-kilometer wide city as what seemed like a meteor crashed outside the city gates.

Above the planet in the Galactic level deep space vessel, in an enclosed circular room sat 12 people around a round glass table.
Above the glass table were thousands of small virtual windows that showed different scenes of the planet below and each of the individuals was keeping an eye over tens of such windows.
Ryfon was one of these individuals as well. He was staring at a large window in front of him that was showing the scenes currently unfolding below in the city.
Hao Xuan had just kicked Bran into a nearby field outside of the city.
A young man that looked even younger than Hao Xuan leaned in from Ryfons left and shook his helplessly.
"Tsk tsk tsk, why are these youngsters so hotblooded? Why do they fight every time?" he muttered in a squeaky voice. It sounded like he hadn't even hit puberty yet but the way he spoke made him sound like an old man.
Unperturbed, Ryfon pushed his head away with his index finger as if doing anything more would be too much work.
"How about you worry about your own people, Cao Shuren? Did your elders say anything about the structure that's buried down there?" Ryfon asked in a placid tone of voice, changing the topic quickly.
The young man named Cao Shuren seemed 12-13 at most. He shrugged and leaned back into his chair, "No idea."
"Hoh? Then what about the students that got sick and had to leave early? Are they healed yet?"
"Nope. They're in some sort of a comma. Elder Wushing even said he would have to take them back to the beast world and have them treated by the experts. There seems to be something with their blood."
