Chapter 1003: Name!

"Hehe, let me show you what happens when the weak conspire against the strong!" A cruel grin spread across Lily's face as she grabbed something immaterial floating above the ripped corpse.

The hysterical laughter seemed to stop at that moment, and instead, it turned into a plea for help.

When Lily regained her territory, one of the suggestions Aakesh had given her was to buy some soul-capturing skills, and today, it came to benefit her.

Lily then turned around, only to see eleven of her subordinates looking at her with concern.

Except for Lily and her wolf friends, no one knew that Lily couldn't die inside Panagea and could revive unendingly. And Lily hadn't perished since she entered here, so it remained a secret. For the subordinates, the situation would become seriously troubling if anything happened to her since it was she who bought the freedom of the territory. If anything happened to her, the land would be snatched back by the King.

"Show him some love," Lily coldly ordered one of her subordinates as she placed the soul into a glass container and handed it to the man.

The man respectfully took the glass container and left the room with intense excitement on his face since he would get to torture the soul.

The man was from the bear race of the beast group, and he liked to torture.

"What have you found?" Lily asked coldly as she approached the bear's residence.

"Your majesty, there seems to be a mechanism restricting him from speaking about his past and the organization," The bear respectfully answered.

Lily's eyes turned cruel as she went forward and grabbed the soul that was on the verge of fading away.

How could Lily let the soul fade this easily when it could show her what was behind the deaths of her friends? She used medium soul stones and added enough energy to return the soul to where it was clearly visible to everyone.

"Aakesh will be coming here in the next two months; he must know some ways to solve the situation, so don't let it die till then," Lily ordered.

The bear's face turned solemn when he heard Lily mention Aakesh. Aakesh was like a legendary figure in the hearts of the subordinates since Lily didn't hide that she took Aakesh's help to reach wherever she was. Only Lily and her wolf friends have seen Aakesh.

Lily's relationship with Aakesh seemed to be intimate, while whenever the name of Aakesh would come, the wolves would grow terrified.

"Yes, your majesty! I will guard it with my life." The bear solemnly responded to Lily's order.

The soul was conscious, so when it heard that it had gained some time of reprieve, it couldn't help but exhale a sigh of relief. But the next moment, it grew pale after hearing what Lily said next.

"No need to let it live pleasantly till that time. Torture it and extract as many words as possible without alerting the restriction."

Lily's voice rang in the residence after she had already left.

A smile spread across the bear's face when he heard his master, and the next moment, he immersed himself in the joy of torture.

"So, you are this happy by just finding a soul!" Aakesh smiled upon hearing about Lily's experience.

"Yes, it's better than having nothing to show even after a month has passed since the death," Lily responded.

"How was your day?" Lily asked since her sharing session was over, and it was now Aakesh's turn.

After Lily left yesterday, Aakesh also entered Panagea, so he started with it and shared his experience there.

After Panagea, Aakesh told Lily about the store.

"Oh, Gregory was here," Lily said, nodding in surprise since she remembered him. When there was nothing for them to do, both she and Aakesh would watch the lives of the customers for years until a new customer arrived with a new adventure.

Aakesh nodded and then told her about Gregory and his family and the beasts he bought.

"His children aren't that talented for the purity of his bloodline," Lily commented after finding that four of his seven children failed to tame their beasts.

Aakesh also nodded and found it surprising, but since he didn't care much, he didn't attempt to find out the reason behind it.

After Gregory left, Aakesh told Lily about the kids, and she couldn't help but grow angry when she heard that Aakesh had given them gifts.

"Where is my gift?" Lily extended her hands and demanded.

Aakesh couldn't help but do a facepalm as to how could he not have expected Lily to react such when she would find out about him giving away gifts.

"What do you want?" Aakesh asked with a helpless smile.

The smile on Lily's face widened as she opened her mouth, "I want you to let me choose the name of the whale!"

"Sure, you can, but it wouldn't be whaley, like you call him," Aakesh accepted immediately.

"Damn it!" Lily frowned after hearing Aakesh's condition since she had the same name in mind.

"Since my name is Lily, how about we name him Lala," Lily commented after a slight pause.

A vein popped out in Aakesh's forehead, and he told Lily to take time to think of a name since there were still three years left.

"Why did you name me Lily?" Lily couldn't help but scoff.

"You can name me after the first name that popped into your head, but I can't name him Lala," Lily complained, clearly not happy with Aakesh shooting down the second name.

Aakesh only smiled at Lily for throwing such tantrums. To ruffle her even more, Aakesh further joked about her name.

Time flew by, and the traditional meeting between Aakesh and Lily came to an end.

The next moment, Aakesh and Lily disappeared from the selection area and appeared in the store's hall. Aakesh's chair followed them while the system stored Lily's chair in the system's space.

Lily then went to Panagea as she summoned the door to their room.

After Lily left, Aakesh's face returned to its usual expressionless state, and he went toward the portal room.

Time flew by, and the sun was about to rise in Thorr and nearby cities.

Aakesh opened his eyes from the meditation after the system's alert.
