Chapter 1020: Nightless Day!
Aakesh was relaxing on his chair when he heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside the store. He opened his eyes and turned in that direction, finding familiar faces entering the store.
It was none other than Alfred and Asher, the city lords of Thorr and Corr, respectively. Despite wanting to become regulars at the store, they were failing at their task since the arrival of the store had increased their workload extensively for a few months.

"Hello, store owner!"
"Hello, store owner!"
Alfred and Asher greeted Aakesh simultaneously after they approached him. Aakesh nodded in response to their greetings and waited for them to state their reasons for coming here.
Since Alfred and Asher came to Aakesh at the same time, their purpose was different than buying store products.
"Store owner, we came to invite you," Alfred said, taking an invitation card out of his space ring.
Aakesh took the card and focused on it. It was a rectangular card made up of the skin of none other than Vurron.
From what Aakesh could sense, it was the skin of Alfred. He didn't think much of it and read the content on the card.
[Dear store owner,
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtThe entire Vurron race welcomes you to grace the occasion on the Nightless Day!]
"Store owner, the Nightless Day is the founding day of Vurrons..." Alfred explained without Aakesh having to ask what the day meant.
The Nightless Day was as its name indicated; there was no night on that day. Every ten thousand years, the stars would align in such a way that the sun wouldn't set on Thorr and the other Vurron cities.
It was also the day when the first Vurron was born, so every ten thousand years, the five city lords gathered around and grandly celebrated the Nightless Day for the entire forty-eight hours.
Since the Nightless Day was a month away, Alfred and Asher came to invite Aakesh to grace the occasion.
Earlier, the Nightless Day was celebrated in Corr City since Asher was the leader of Vurrons, but this time, Thorr City would hold the festival. The store's presence in the city was the primary reason behind the decision-making.
"Will you come, store owner?" Asher asked. Even though Thorr City was hosting the celebration, Asher was still the one leading it.
"No," Aakesh replied, as he had no interest in the festival.
Alfred and Asher became disappointed as the King was also coming, so seeing Aakesh attend the function would further solidify his view of the store owner being close to them.
"Store owner, that day would be the holiday of the entire city. From the poorest to the richest in Vurrons, no one would work that day."
"Store owner, will it be possible for you to close the store that day?" Alfred respectfully inquired about Aakesh.
The Nightless Day was a tradition that every Vurron followed. If the store were to open, the Vurron customers would be more interested in Panagea than following the traditional scenes.
It was also the primary reason for them to come here. Even if Aakesh didn't want to close the store, they could do nothing, but they still wanted to try, hoping for the best situation.
Aakesh didn't immediately answer Alfred since the festival gave Aakesh an idea.
"Hey, system, what do you think about organizing a contest on the Nightless Day?"
[Host, what are you thinking?]
"In the Primal Dimension, the annual events played a large role in the store becoming popular with the masses all around the Bisan Kingdom and its nearby areas.
We can't announce an event of that scale because of space issues, but what if we organize a single competition?"
[Host, what competition are you thinking of?]
"I am thinking of organizing a competition for beast owners where their beasts would fight," Aakesh answered.
[Host, please see the next screen for your quest!]
The next moment, a blue screen appeared in front of Aakesh, containing the details of a newly created quest at his suggestion.
Mission Objective: Organize a Competition,
Requirement: On the Nightless Day, when all the Vurrons will be celebrating their founding day, the store will organize a competition to popularize the store and the product, Beast Summoner Device,
Number of Contestants: 32,
Number of Attendees: 500,
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmMission Reward: None,
Failure Punishment: Deduction of 100 purer, lesser Sacred stones.
The system took Aakesh's suggestion right away and even made him a quest with some requirements.
Even though it was a system quest, there were no rewards, only a failure punishment. Since it was Aakesh's suggestion and the system's execution of the event, he didn't care much about the failure.
The requirement for contestants was tight, but Aakesh believed that the number of attendees would overwhelmingly surpass the count of five hundred.
Aakesh then thought of the screen disappearing, and soon it returned to nothingness, waiting for Aakesh to call it back again.

"No, I won't close the store," Aakesh expressionlessly told Alfred.
Alfred and Asher looked at each other and could see the disappointment in it since they could do nothing to pressure Aakesh to close the store. These moments made them feel anger at their helpless condition. Even though the store's presence here was a boon for Vurrons, it was also a terrible situation for them at the same time. The store and the store owner would always be out of their control and wouldn't follow any of the rules they made.
Both of them heaved helpless sighs and decided to leave since they needed to prepare for the event.
"The shop will hold a beast summoners competition on the Nightless Day." Aakesh then shared his plan with Alfred and Asher, making the duo stop.
In no time, the disappointment on their faces turned into excitement, as even though the store owner wouldn't close the store, the contest would make the event more popular than ever.
There was a hint of disappointment on Alfred's face since he hadn't gotten a beast until now, and if he wanted, he didn't have enough money to do the summon, let alone buy a beast.
"Store owner, will the store be able to hold this many people?" Asher asked. Since there was a store competition, he would announce it to the public. Not everyone would be able to come, but there would at least be a crowd of several thousand.
