Chapter 884: Another Quest!
"You know me?" Ashley asked in a haughty tone as she looked at Richa.
Richa shrank back after seeing those arrogant eyes of Ashley since there was not only a background difference between them but also strength.
Richa was only a peak Divine Being, while Ashley had been at the Divine Lord level for hundreds of years.
Ashley seemed to have sensed her overbearing voice and eyes, so she slightly calmed them down and asked another question, "How do you know my name?"
Richa took a deep breath as the pressure in those eyes dimmed to some extent. "I saw you when I went with my father to Corrino's palace."
Ashley nodded, as many families of Vurrons usually came to her father for his guidance. There was some infighting between the Vurrons' subgroups, but at the end of the day, Ashley's father was the strength on which the Vurrons depended.
"Which family do you come from?" Ashley asked as she thought of something at that moment.
"The Thorrotons!" Richa replied, her voice slightly gaining confidence. Even though Richa was a Vurron like no other, she still had to follow the hierarchy established among the Vurrons. If she didn't want to, she would have to become stronger than others to establish the system she wanted. But since she was only one of the Vurrons, she had no choice but to keep up with the hierarchy.
Ashley recognized the name as it was only second to Thorrinos in Thorr City.
"Meet me at the Anglodasian Restaurant in the evening," Ashley said, and then, without waiting for Richa's response or even asking for her name, she turned around and proceeded toward the cultivation arts room.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtRicha couldn't help but smile wryly and think, 'Did I call a disaster to myself?'
Ashley Corrino had asked her to meet her, so she had no choice but to do so. Ashley's overbearing personality had been evident to Richa from firsthand experience.
At the same time, she also got curious about whether Ashley would buy cultivation art from the store. She hadn't been only waiting for her turn all this while; she had already checked the weapons room and the cultivation arts room. Even the cheapest one she came across was too much for herself to bear without using the financial prowess of the Thorrontons.
The same was the case for other customers waiting as they looked at the backside of Ashley as she haughtily proceeded toward the cultivation arts room.
Only around a minute had passed after Ashley entered the art room when there was another movement inside the portal room.
Ricky's six hours inside Panagea came to an end, and the system forced him out. He staggeringly walked out of the room, as today had been great for Garos. He not only leveled up twice but also found some news about classes in Panagea.
Ricky's gaze was drawn to the people waiting outside as he exited the room. Ricky recognized all of them as he nodded in the direction of Jemiah and Richa to greet them first, and then he looked toward other generals and Rodrick, who was a restaurant owner.
After Ricky, it was the turn of Jemiah, as he came earlier than usual today.
Ricky didn't leave the store but went toward the weapons room since he had postponed it after exiting Panagea.
Not long after Jemiah got to Panagea, Aakesh opened his eyes. At the same time, he got a couple of automated alerts.
[Ding!]
[Congratulations, Host, on meeting the requirement of 36 Panagea hour sales in a single day! The commission for the sale has been transferred to you.]
[Host, please see the quest window for your new quest.]
The next moment, a blue window containing the details of the new quest appeared in front of him.
[Mission Objective: Sell Panagea hours,
Requirement: Host, the store has successfully achieved the requirement of 36 Panagea hours of sales in a day. Now, its time for you to increase your part and make more customers interested in the product,
Number of Panagea hours you need to sell: 450 Hours,
Days required: Seven days,
Mission reward: Seven new virtual portals addition,
Failure Punishment: The loss of one virtual portal and the sales commission will get reduced to 2.5% of the product's price for three years.]
After Jemiah entered Panagea, the payment received by the system became equal to 36 hours of sales in Panagea, so the quest activated itself.
Unlike the previous two quests, this one didn't ask him to have a specific number of customers. Instead, it desired that the store sell a certain number of Panagea hours.
The store operated for twenty-four hours since it was daytime in Thorr City. Since there were three portals, the store could sell a maximum of 72 hours a day.
To achieve the target of 450 Panagea hours, Aakesh needed the portals to be filled for all seven days. There was no way Aakesh could complete the quest earlier than the deadline, like the other missions had a chance.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmEven though there were almost zero percentage chances that Aakesh would fail the quests, as he already had enough customers to fill the portals for all four rounds, he still disliked the mission.
"Hey, system, will today count as a day in the quest?" Aakesh asked the system abruptly because, if today were to be counted, the store's success rate had slightly decreased.
Counting today's remaining 36 hours, the store only had 468 hours left on the other side.
The system didn't respond, but a new blue screen popped up in front of Aakesh the next moment.
[Quest progress:
Panagea hours: 36/450,
Deadline: Six days.]
The system had counted the thirty-six hours of sale as well since the quest related to Panagea hours were different.
It was also the reason Aakesh didn't receive a customer quest for Panagea. It would have been nearly impossible to meet the requirement, even if it had only been to acquire five new Panagea customers.
The system knew Panagea's popularity, and unlike other products, virtual portals weren't unlimited in number. Those who were already here weren't going to give space to the newcomers to enter Panagea, leaving the quest up to fate and not to the store or the store owner.
