There was still a week left before the finals of the Martial Tournament, which would be held in Morhen. Naturally, Frank was not nervous at all and even fell back to his old return of punctual training and rest.
He had also won public favor among Riverton martial artists after proposing that they be afforded one qualification berth.
His old friends Robert Quill and Gerald Simmons, who were the Rivertonmissioner and the Riverton mayor respectively, even paid him a personal visit.

Still, neither of them were aware of a dispute when he tried to ask them indirectly about the Zamri mayor and the Zamrimissioner-it was the first they had heard of it.
After seeing his guests off, Frank did not even have tto gather his thoughts when he got a call from Helen Lane. "Frank... Hurry! I-I got into an accident! I ran into somebody!" "What?!" Frank was left shocked by Helen's distressed tone over the phone.
Despite being the board chairwoman of Lanecorp, Helen did not behave all high-and-mighty, as she would drive herself to work instead of using a chauffeur.
Frank was very surprised that she would get caught in an accident too-she was always about safety first and would never overspeed.
So how did she run her car into a pedestrian? "Just calm down. Tellwhere you are-I'll be right there!" Frank assured her over the phone and promptly picked up his jacket as he ran out of the hotel.
He was soon at the scene of the accident-a blind turn, though all he saw was a puddle of blood, and the victim was nowhere to be seen.
Two police officers were taking Helen's testimony, and her creased brow eased when she saw Frank.

"Apologies, sir." Both officers clearly did not recognize Frank or Helen, although she was the head of Lanecorp.

The officer whipped out a breathalyzer, pointing at the display as he said quietly, "Then does this mean my equipment is malfunctioning?" "What?" Frank glanced at the breathalyzer and saw that the alcohol levels did indicate intoxication.
However, he knew Helen-she would never drive under influence, let alone get in a car crash.
It was simply illogical.
"I really wasn't drunk. I-I'm being framed!" Helen cried anxiously, sliding glances at her wristwatch constantly while she did.
"Do you have something urgent to do?" Frank could tell that much seeing her restless fidgeting-nothing else would explain that.
"Yeah." Chapter 1955 3
