Chapter 1225

5 p.m.

Sean finally arrived at the address.

The Collins family had reached prominence more than a decade ago.

Unexpectedly, they lived in a suburban area in Joules Town instead of downtown.

No wonder a Joules Town resident like Jeffrey did not know much about the Collins family.

You could only say that they had a low profile.

“This should be it.”

Sean mumbled to himself as he looked out the window at the scenery flashing by.

After all, he had been here once.

Besides, he could already remember things at the time.

The Collins family never moved after more than a decade. They were still in the same place.

A building slowly emerged before them in the distance.

It looked like one of those estates.

There were green lawns, magnificent vintage buildings, beautiful rocks, and pavilions.

At first glance, it looked like the home of a lord of the Regency era.

It seemed this was the home of the Collins family.

“Even though this area is remote, I’m afraid the value of such a large house is incalculable!”

Zander looked at the Collins Residence in front of him and could not help but sigh in admiration.

“Indeed.”

Jeffrey nodded too.

Joules Town’s housing prices were not as high as those in top–tier cities like Janestown and Midwich.

However, it cost no less than nine figures.

The total value of such a large manor probably exceeded 100 million dollars.

More importantly, it was unlikely that even wealthy people could acquire such a large piece of land for

private use.

Therefore, the Collins family was not only rich but also powerful.

“Commander, we can’t go any further, can we?”

Zander pulled over to the roadside, turned to look at Sean, and asked.

“Just wait for me.”

Sean nodded gently and stepped out of the car.

In terms of status, he was a nine–star commander, and it was natural for him to have an entourage.

However, that was two years ago.

Now, he was only a guy who needed help from the Collins family.

It was inappropriate to bring an entourage when he was asking for help as it would look pompous.

Sean walked slowly toward the Collins Residence’s gate.

At the gate, there were two security guards stationed outside while another two were inside.

All four were standing straight, and you could tell they were ex–soldiers.

Seeing Sean coming over, the two men outside immediately stepped forward and reached out a hand.

He pointed his palm outward toward Sean, signaling him to stop.

“Collins Residence is private property.

“No trespassers are allowed.”

A security guard looked at Sean and spoke with a blank expression.

“I’m here for Old Master Collins.”

Sean looked them in the eye and got straight to the point.

When Sean said this, there was surprise in the two security guards‘ eyes.

The Collins family had always kept a low profile in Joules Town, and few people knew about them.

Therefore, most people were unfamiliar with the Collins family, not to mention knowing Old Master

William Collins‘ name.

Sean looked like he was in his 20s and could namedrop Old Master Collins.

He was indeed unusual.

“The Collins family doesn’t accept visitors after 4 p.m.

“You can come back tomorrow if anything.”

The two security guards looked at each other and then said to Sean.

They did not mean to be brusque with Sean, but it was the rule.

Sean was a little upset.

After all, he did not have much time to lose.

“Please inform them for me.

“Tell them Colin Langdon asked me to meet Old Master Collins.”

Sean glanced inside the Collins Residence front yard and said again.

“We’re terribly sorry.

“It has always been the Collins family’s rule to see no visitors after 4 p.m.

“We’re only following the rules.”

The two security guards shook their heads again.

When Sean heard this, he knew he had no choice and could only nod helplessly.

“You can register your information.

“We’ll show Old Master Collins the visitor list tomorrow morning.

“If he wants to see you, we’ll contact you.”

One of the security guards added because he had a feeling that Sean was no ordinary man.

“Thank you then.”

Sean nodded and registered his information. He turned to leave after leaving his contact information.

“Colin Langdon? Why do I find that name familiar?”

One of the guards muttered, looking at Sean’s back.

“Forget about Colin Langdon. Even his name seems familiar to me.” 1

Another guard said, frowning slightly as he looked at the name Sean had registered.

After all, Colin was famous in the Northwest Army.

Sean’s outstanding achievements were admired by many soldiers.
