Chase barely gave her a glance, his eyes passing over her and landing on Ellinor, “I’m not after you.

I’m after the other Miss Mendoza ”

Sheila’s smile froze. ‘Oh Ellinor, come over here; Mr. Larios wants to see you!”

She didn’t forget to shoot her a glare as she called Ellinor over

Ellinor, looking puzzled, walked over to Chase, “What’s up. Mr. Larios?”

Chase suddenly stepped closer to her with a strange smile on his face, “I didn’t want to say this

upstairs with all the employees around… Miss Mendoza, do you have a boyfriend?

What was he up to?

Before she could answer, Chase continued, “If you are single, could you grant me the opportunity to

pursue you?”

With that, he shoved his card into Ellinor’s hand, hugged her, and bolted, diving back into the elevator,

leaving a very puzzled Ellinor.

Slowly, Ellinor turned around, only to find herself staring into Theo’s eyes.

Sheila was furious over Chase’s confession.
