mention her in front of Edgar.
Edgar seemed to sense something amiss. “Dad, are the two of you hiding something from me?”
“Edgar, there are some things I don’t wish for you to find out. But, now that you are older and capable
enough, I think it’s time for you to know.”
After Ryker finished talking, he started telling Edgar the truth and even took him to the Deragon
residence’s dungeon.
Looking at the creepy dungeon and his locked-up aunt, Edgar found it hard to believe.
As for Beatrice, she was shocked to see Edgar.
After all those years, Beatrice had only seen Ryker and a few others. Ryker had never brought any
stranger there before.
At the sight of Edgar, Beatrice appeared to be in shock.
“Edgar, this is your aunt. She has been locked up here for over twenty years,” said Ryker as he pointed
at Beatrice.
When Beatrice heard his introduction, she immediately knew that Edgar was Ryker’s son.
