Chapter 821

Aria treaded through the water and pounced over, hitting Joanna’s head with the revolver.

Aria had become a killing machine, killing many people and sacrificing everything.

Since Bruce and Joanna gave Aria a hard time, Aria didn’t intend to make them have it easy.

Aria’s blow smashed Joanna’s head, causing it to split.

Seeing this, Bruce’s pupils constricted, and his heart stopped momentarily.

“Joann…”

He used all his strength to try and shield Joanna.

Unfortunately, he was too powerless to fight or do anything. He watched in despair and horror as the revolver fell

to the ground.

The revolver was right in front of him.

Joanna had no time to react. She could only make a hasty attack. Instead of running away, she advanced and used

all her strength to collide with Aria.

Joanna crashed into Aria’s arms.

Aria staggered from the impact. The revolver in her hand misfired, hitting Joanna’s arm.

“Ahhh…” Joanna screamed. Her arm was wounded, and it was so painful she almost passed out.

“Joann…” Bruce cried out weakly.

Joanna’s arm was hurt. Thankfully the revolver did not fire at her head. Her wrist was damaged, but it saved her

life.

“You want to die!” Aria’s eyes revealed a hint of ferocity as she tried to shake off Joanna.

Joanna used all her strength to push Aria.

“Splash!” Aria staggered a step back and fell to the ground.

Joanna’s arm felt painful but she did not let go of Aria. She pushed her to the floor and held her down.

Aria couldn’t push Joanna off her. So, she picked up the revolver and hit Joanna’s back several times.

“Ah…” Joanna cried out in pain and rolled on the ground with Aria.

Water was all over the ground, and the two women got drenched as they fought in the water.

What a pity!

Joanna was no match for Aria, even though she tried her best and put her life on the line.

Aria was an exceptional fighter. She was at the same level as Bruce.

Tatiana was no match for Aria, let alone Joanna. She had no chance.

“Ahhh…” Joanna was too powerless to fight back.

Aria grabbed her hair and flung her off her body.

Joanna tumbled and rolled to the bathroom door. “Cough, cough, uh…” Joanna opened her mouth and spat out two

mouthfuls of blood.

Then, she slumped to the ground and was about to faint.

Aria stood up and straightened her neck as she looked at Joanna viciously. “Bruce, it’s all this woman’s fault for

ruining our love.”

“I’ll let this intruder, this culprit, die in front of you right now.”

Bruce’s eyes were bloodshot as he looked at Aria with grief and resentment. “Aria, don’t… don’t… I beg you… don’t

hurt her.”

“As long as you let her go… I’ll do whatever you want me to do… I beg you, let her go!”

Bruce begged as he grabbed Aria’s ankle with trembling hands.

“Don’t hurt her, please…”

The more he begged her in a lowly and panicked manner, the more Aria felt like thousands of swords were piercing

Bruce had always been unruly and arrogant when he was with her.

No matter how much she had threatened and tempted him, he always refused to give in to her.

And now, he was humbly begging her to let this woman go..

Aria laughed maniacally.

As she laughed, tears streamed down her face again.

“Bruce, we’re the perfect match.”

“It’s all this woman’s fault for ruining our love. When she dies, we can be together at last…”

“Aria, I beg you, don’t hurt her! I will do anything you want…” Bruce was utterly panicked.

All that mattered was that Aria released Joanna.

Bruce didn’t care about anything else.

While Aria was distracted, Joanna mustered enough courage and energy; she got up wobbling.

She couldn’t beat Aria.

She could only try to stall for as long as possible and deal with Aria the best she could.

Benny and Tommy had been sent a location and were probably close.

They had to have rushed over as soon as they received the message,

“…Aria, I’m not afraid of you. Come and kill me if you can.”

Joanna feared that Aria would harm Bruce, so she kept provoking her.

As expected, Aria was enraged. She kicked Bruce off her legs and chased Joanna out of the bathroom. “Oh, you had

a chance. to die but chose to suffer instead. There’s no way out of this; you will suffer and die.”

“I only wanted to spend the last part of my life with Bruce peacefully. Now you’ve brought people to mess it all up.

You can’t blame me for killing you!”

Joanna covered her arm to stop the bleeding and quickly calmed down.

She focused on Aria’s every move and retreated step by step.

The house’s interior was very complicated. There were many miscellaneous items and obstacles everywhere.

She couldn’t defeat Aria, and of course, she couldn’t fight her head-on. She could only rely on her intelligence and

calmness to stall for as long as possible.

“Aria, you don’t understand love at all. True love is fulfillment and tolerance, not possession and paranoia.”

“You were the one who abandoned Bruce back then. What right do you have to force him to love

Aria approached Joanna step by step and became hysterical. “Joanna, it’s all your fault. You stole Bruce-from me.”

Joanna sneered. She had finally reached the living room and had successfully lured Aria out of the bathroom. “Aria,

you’re such a despicable woman; it’s terrifying.”

“Of course, Bruce wouldn’t love you. You think you know him well. Well, that’s only in your imagination.”

“Do you know what he likes? Do you know his favorite food? Do you know what color he likes to wear?”

“If you truly know him, you should know why he doesn’t love you anymore.”

“He might have loved you once, but that was only in the past! Love never disappears; it just moves on. You should

look within yourself for answers instead of hating others like a lunatic!”

Joanna’s words angered Aria.

“Don’t dare say another word. As long as I kill you, Bruce and I will return to what we were in the past.”

When Aria finished speaking fiercely, she quickened her pace and pounced at Joanna like a lioness.

“Ah…”

Joanna dodged and quickly moved to the other side of the table to circle Aria.

When Aria chased Joanna to the left, Joanna ran to the right.

She chased Joanna to the right, and Joanna quickly dodged to the left.

After a few rounds around the table.

Aria was exasperated and roared fiercely, “You deserve to die.”

“If you think you have the guts to defeat me, let’s fight it out. If you win, I’ll let you take Bruce away.”

Joanna sneered. “Aria, just because I can’t beat you doesn’t mean I’m afraid of you.”

“How can I compare myself to a lunatic? A lunatic attacks people recklessly. I can’t match up to a lunatic’s attack.”

When Aria heard this, she gritted her teeth. “Oh, I’ll make you pay for your sharp tongue.”

She chased Joanna around a few times.

Aria still struggled to catch Joanna.

She was sick, after all. She had been given strong antibiotics, and her stamina was still limited.

Aria changed her mind and jumped onto the table. She spun and tumbled across the table to Joanna.

Seeing this, Joanna did not attempt to fight with her.

She immediately turned around and ran towards the second floor.

There was a room on the second floor.

She could temporarily keep herself safe as long as she could hide in her room and lock the door.

Aria then chased after her to the second floor.

Bruce’s consciousness was gradually fading.

However, his heart rate was accelerating because he was worried about Joanna’s safety, and his adrenaline was

soaring.

His strong desire to live helped him as he struggled to crawl out of the bathroom.

Then he lay down in the bedroom for a bit.

He knew that Aria had placed the third antiviral serum in the bedroom.

There was nothing he could do now…

He had to find the serum and inject it into himself immediately. Only after removing the poison from his body could

he have the ability to save Joanna.

“Bruce, you must persevere. You can do it. You don’t give up.”

Bruce used both hands and feet to crawl.

He bit his tongue hard with every step and used the pain to motivate himself not to faint
