After selecting the photos, he embraced Joanna and said with a smile, “Honey, thank you for giving birth to these

four adorable children.”

She nestled in his embrace, smiling with delight.

“Waah…” Devin began crying with his mouth wide open, perhaps because he was hungry.

“The baby’s probably hungry. He needs to be fed.”

“Quick, feed the baby!”

They called for two wetnurses, who were specifically dedicated to breastfeeding the baby.

tomorrow.”

“Okay, safe travels. I’ll have the driver take you to the airport,” he replied casually.

There was silence on the other end of the phone.

She sadly asked, “Bruce, aren’t you coming to see me off in person?”

He firmly declined. “Better not. I have to handle the remarriage procedure with my wife tomorrow. I can’t leave.”

Upon hearing this, her heart ached even more while she clutched the phone tightly.

She wondered if he would never be hers.

“Bruce, I still want to see you one more time.”
