Chapter 1818 Bryce’s Cremation

Ian thought for a while before he placed the Band-Aid back on again. “Be careful over the next few days and don't

get it wet. Although the wound is not too deep, it’s quite a big one and it is easy for it to be infected.”

Aurora nodded and tucked her hair back. “Cindy handled it well for me and I feel no pain now.”

In fact, although the wound looked a little bad, it didn’t hurt that much. After thinking for a while, he felt amused.

“How could you fight with her? Who started it first?”

Since he had already brought it up, she decided to share the story of the fight with Leah that day in detail from

beginning to end. In a nutshell, Leah had politely asked over the phone to meet up, but after they met and spoke a

little, she wanted to make a move against Aurora. Naturally, Aurora couldn't take it lying down and struck Leah first,

thereafter winning an overwhelming victory.

While Aurora spoke, she gestured with her hand as she described to Ian how she had beaten up Leah. He did not

know whether Aurora had exaggerated, but from her words, he surmised that she didn’t suffer as a result of the

fight. Since he understood his mother, he nodded after listening and warned, “Try not to do it again in the future.”

Aurora snorted, a little arrogant. “If she didn't come to provoke me, I definitely wouldn't take the initiative to look

for her, but since she was in front of me, I couldn't let her be.”

The only time she had lost in her life was when she was with Bryce and since then, she told herself that she could

only bully others in the future and would never be bullied by anyone again.

Ian didn't say much else before all of them went to sleep after watching TV for a while.

Bryce was scheduled to be cremated the next day. As the time for his cremation was a bit early, both Ian and Cindy

had an early night. The two of them hadn't slept well that night, but they woke up before dawn, tidied up, and drove

to the Morgan Residence. Sean had also spent the night there and the priest also came by to make the

arrangements. She had held her father’s funeral before, but she still didn’t really understand the whole process.

Then, most of Bryce’s belongings were also placed in the car as it was decided that all of it would be burned after

the cremation. Ian and Cindy didn't help much and merely watched. As for Leah, she didn't get up and just like

yesterday, she claimed that she couldn’t get out of bed. However, no one cared whether she really could wake up

on time or not. After all, she was now dispensable to the Morgan Family.

As the family was ready, they departed to the funeral home. Since it was still extremely early in the day, the funeral

home hadn’t started its business for the day. Sean had to give them extra fees to secure the first spot in today’s

line.

Someone was already waiting for them at the funeral home when they arrived. Soon, Bryce's body was pushed

over and the priest began to bless it. However, Cindy couldn’t hear what he was talking about. Then, the body was

pushed to the incinerator and the staff came over before he turned to look at Sean and Ian. “Would you like to see

him one last time?”

Sally was present, but Simon didn't come; he said that he wanted to take care of Leah at home. Then, Sean turned

to look at Sally. "Do you want to take one last look?"

Sally hesitated for a while before shaking her head. “No.”

The staff didn’t have any expression as he pushed the coffin directly to the incineration area after hearing their

answer. Then, the rest of them waited outside.

As there was no need to be in a line, the entire process was quite fast where everything was over in about half an

hour. After that, the priest asked Sean and Ian to store Bryce's remains in the urn.

Cindy had seen Anthony being cremated before. It was different from what was shown on TV and not everything

was burned to ashes. There were still pieces of bones where some of them were still intact.

Ian and Sean did not think much about this last act, so the two quickly stored the ashes and remaining pieces of

bones into the urn.
