Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast strode into the space.

Soon, Austin saw half a broken bridge in the void, hidden in the depths of space.

Water, somehow black in color, was flowing underneath it, and was also enveloping it in fog and mist. The entire scene looked hazy

and ethereal.

Although only a small part of the bridge was left, it was evident that it had enjoyed a long history.

Various runes related to the law of reincarnation and the scene where creatures went for reincarnation were engraved on it.

Upon close inspection, Austin also discovered another ancient carving on it. The hieroglyph suggested the word "Memory".

Austin was excited as soon as his eyes caught sight of the bridge. He was staring at it and couldn't move his eyes away.

He was quite certain that

this was a part of the Memory Bridge.

His cultivation base of the law of reincarnation had reached a quite prominent level, and therefore he could tell immediately that

this must be a part of the road of reincarnation.

Ravished with joy, Austin strode hurriedly towards the bridge.

However, just as he was about to reach it,

a black-clad figure suddenly appeared in the void ahead.

Its presence was highly illusory and strange. It was as if the shadow was constantly swaying softly.

"That's a creature of darkness!"

Austin and the chaotic sky-devouring beast exclaimed.

They had fought with creatures of darkness before and were familiar with their auras.

This figure was emitting a strong and powerful dark energy that made it easy enough to confirm its origins.

"Look! Another survivor of the reincarnation race comes seeking death."

The creature let out a sinister laugh.

"You won't be able to escape, human. Using this broken bridge as bait, I've lured and killed almost a dozen members of the

reincarnation race,"

he sneered.

Austin narrowed his eyes at these words.

It looked like this creature was waiting here only for members of the reincarnation race. They would arrive here in search of

fragments of the road of reincarnation and would then, meet their maker.

"Brat, don't try to resist or escape. It's useless. Look forward to your death.

As a mere level-one governing god, you are too weak to fight me,"

the creature of darkness added. It was clear he didn't take Austin seriously at all.

"It's justand you, a damn creature of darkness.

Why would | try to escape? In fact, | know for a fact that you're the one who's going to try and escape soon,"

Austin replied coldly, looking at his opponent with a sneer.

"Oh, you weak human brat, you want to resist?

| told you, | have killed a dozen level-one and level-two governing gods of the reincarnation race effortlessly.

And | tortured them cruelly before they faced their death.

| can still clearly recall their miserable end and the screams they let out. Two of them even begged for mercy because they couldn't

bear my torture. They were even willing to surrender and join us.

But we are pure. We will never take in the rubbish of the reincarnation race.

The creature of darkness was looking at Austin with a playful look.

"lI am going to avenge all you have killed and torture you in return for all the darkness you bring.

| won't stop hurting you till you die."

Austin was furious when he heard of his comrades being mentioned in such an unworthy manner.

"Ridiculous!

Letshow you how powerful our kind is and how enormous the gap between you andis.

You will soon kneel down in front ofand beg for mercy!"

The creature burst into laughter when he heard Austin's words.

He wasn't taking Austin seriously at all. As a level-six governing god, he naturally looked down upon the man who was just a level-

one governing god.

As soon as he finished his words, the creature began to make his move.

More than a thousand black arms grew on his body simultaneously, each holding a black magic treasure. An overwhelming amount

of black energy was emanating out of these arms and constantly pressuring Austin into submission.

In response, Austin activated a world of mind power and enveloped the creature of darkness within.

As soon as the creature was trapped, the mighty mind power broke into his body and began attacking him like crazy.

Before the creature had tto defend himself, Austin waved his hand and set up more than a hundred attacking arrays, defensive

arrays, isolated arrays, and illusory arrays around the creature.

Austin's array skills were constantly increasing during actual combat, and now, he was several times better than Donovan.

After activating the arrays, he displayed the Destruction Sword Skill. Each swing of his sword sent out an enormously powerful and

destructive sword intent that almost sliced the creature into pieces.

"How is that even possible? You are just a level-one governing god. How can you be this powerful?"

Immediately after the battle began, the creature discovered that he had seriously underestimated his opponent's strength and was

fighting a rapidly losing battle.

an armor made of law covered his body.

"How can this be? | can't even defeat a level-one governing god. What the hell?"

The creature of darkness was forced to retreat.

He was already enveloped by a world of mind power and suppressed by more than a hundred arrays. His strength, will, and ability

to fight back had already been restricted.

What was worse, most of his attacks were totally blocked by Austin's Law Armor.

Therefore, he was at a complete disadvantage and would soon be crushed by Austin.
