The ancient poisonous centipede was also blinded, it quickly coiled into itself and retreated in panic.
Master Magaera was not about to let this chance slip away, in a flash, he caught up to the retreating
centipede and strike its head.
The violent strike caused the ancient poisonous centipede to let out a cry of pain and it spat out a
sphere, which was burning with green flames.
The sphere was as big as a fist and shone brightly with an eerily green glow due to its flames.
The sphere was none other than the Heavenly Flame Core, the inner core of the ancient poisonous
centipede.
All of the enchanted beasts have an inner core, the ancient poisonous centipede was no different.
After spitting out its own inner core, the ancient poisonous centipede fell out of the sky and crashed into
the ground, forming a giant pit. 1
Amidst all the debris and dust, a loud cry cut through the battlefield, the ancient
poisonous centipede finally took its last breath and lay in the pit, dead. A beast who had
been alive for a thousand-year finally perished in the hands of Master Magaera.
Yet, nobody was paying any attention to the beast that they had fought so hard to protect
or kill. Everybody's attention was on the inner core, floating mid-air, it drifts around as if it
was alive.
The inner core of the ancient poisonous centipede, a rare treasure that could not be found
anywhere.
Master Magaera, did not even look at the floating inner core, with his standing in the
Godly Region, there was no need for him to fight over an inner core
Master Magaera nodded and said, "Thanks for all your help,"
After that, he darted in front of Skylar and grabbed him. Skylar, still injured from his last
encounter with Veron, could only watch as he was captured.
Yvette who was standing near Master Magaera immediately cried out, "Master Magaera,
kill him!"
Others follow suit, "He’s an offspring of a fiend, he should die for his sins! That’s right! Kill
him and cleanse this filth from the Nine Mainlands!"
Feeling the hate emanating from the crowd and the powerful Master Magaera bearing
down on him, Skylar could not help but turn deathly pale, fear filled his heart.
"People, hear me. His sins are indeed unforgivable, however, our priorities should be
stoping Archfiend Antigonus," explained Master Magaera, silencing the crowds.
Everybody knew that no matter how hated Skylar was, the real problem was the person
behind his action, Archfiend Antigonus.
Master Magaera looked at Skylar and asked, "Spit it out! Where’s Archfiend Antigonus?"
Skylar knew that he still had a chance, as long as he played his cards right, "How would I know?
Archfiend Antigonus goes wherever he pleases,"
Master Magaera’s face immediately dropped, "Did you think that I would not be able to pry the

poisonous centipede is dead, Skylar Blanc has been captured, we have won! I’ll leave the rest to all of
you,"
Without another word, Master Magaera leaped up with Skylar Blanc in his hands and flew towards the
sky.
Master Magaera decided to first garner his troops and look for some leads to where Archfiend Antigonus
might be hiding. 1
Unbeknownst to Master Magaera, Archfiend Antigonus, assuming the identity of Master Magaera had
already snuck into the Godly Region.
All the disciples of the Five Poison Sect who were left standing, was starting to panic. Their Sect Master
had been captured, their only protection lost.
Kendall wanted to follow Master Magaera and see if there was any chance of saving Skylar. However,
with Dex standing right in front of her, there’s no way she could sneak out undetected.
While the others were panicking, Chester and his army finally breathed a sigh of relief.
