Chapter 4244

With Cyril's lead, the other generals kneeled without hesitation. Then, there was a sea of blaring cheers.

"Your Majesty."

’Long live, Your Majesty!’

The generals showed signs of utmost respect as they greeted the Empress.

Lord Kenny had died, and Yvette had become the Empress. No one had dared to question it.

Yvette smiled charmingly and nodded at them. "Be at ease, Generals! I hope you'll continue to serve me and aid me in

contributing to the New World."

Cyril and the rest stood up when they heard that.

Cyril paused for a moment before he said, "Your Majesty, our army had successfully conquered North Moana Royal City. If

everything goes smoothly, we'd be able to have the whole of North Moana Royal City under our control. I wonder what you

have planned for US next?"

Yvette let out a sigh of relief as she said, "Let our soldiers rest, and in the meantime, have someone track down Kendall

Jones!"

Yvette appeared to be calm, but her eyes seemed worried.

After helping the New World Army win the North Moana Royal City, Skylar was supposed to

give Yvette the secret manual. Who would have known that Kendall would betray Skylar?

She even injured him and brought him out of the New World Palace.

Even though she should be celebrating after she had killed Lord Kenny and ascended the

throne as the Empress, the thought of Skylar's situation wore her down.

Being haunted by the fiend soul was a torturous experience. The last thing she wanted

was to continue the suffering.

"Yes, Your Majesty."

Cyril and the generals roared as they marched out of the main hall.

Meanwhile, over in the Godly Region.

Princess Dorothy was covered in blood as she struggled to open her eyes.

Tm not dead?'

Princess Dorothy felt relieved and discouraged at the same time as she looked at her

surroundings. She thought she would die after falling off the cliff. She did not expect to fall

into a pool of water.

There was not only a pool of water in the abyss. The air was also covered in thick fog, so

she could not see the road before her.

Princess Dorothy did not think much as she swam across the pool to the bank and started

looking for her belongings.

Sh*t!

Princess Dorothy shivered as tears welled at the brim of her eyes. She realized she had

lost the Emerald Sky Pearl and the Rainbow Amulet. The only thing she had with her was

the jade vial that contained a ball of flame.

Princess Dorothy was crestfallen.

It would have been fine if she had just lost the Rainbow Amulet, but the Emerald Sky Pearl

could have helped regain her fairy soul. Her hope in reviving died with the loss of the

Emerald Sky Pearl.

Feeling dejected, she took out the jade vial and stared blankly at the agile flame inside.

The ball of flame felt oddly familiar.

Princess Dorothy had no idea that the ball inside the jade vial was Darryl's flame of soul that remained after his body had

died.

As Princess Dorothy was still in a daze of amazement, an air of aura flowed through from above her. Then, a heavy shadowy

figure fell into the pool of water with a loud splash.

"Argh!" The man groaned in pain.

"Why is there a pool of water here? How careless!" The man murmured to himself as he swam to the bank.

Princess Dorothy panicked. However, she burst out laughing after realizing who the man was.

Princess Dorothy covered her mouth as she laughed audibly. "Jade Immortal?’

"Ah.‘ Jade Immortal snapped back to his senses when he heard Princess Dorothy's voice. He was stunned but pleased to

find out it was Princess Dorothy.

"There you are, young lady. Thank goodness, you're okay."

Jade Immortal raised his hands as a ball of flame blazed in mid-air, instantly drying their clothes. They got out of the pool

one after another, wet and worn out.
