Chapter 5041
Gigi's face quickly lost any sign of arrogance as she grinned affectionately and spoke. Gigi
and Sandra became close friends after Gigi met Sandra while traveling the world two
years prior.
Gigi had only intended to check out the new pill-making rooms when she visited the Pill
Tower. She never thought she would bump into Sandra.
"Sister Gigi..."
At the sight of Gigi, Sandra was delighted as well. She strode over quickly, clasping Gigi's
hands in her own. Sandra had been feeling pretty down just before that, but her mood

Darryl scratched his head. What was happening? How were those two women so close?

taken a look at them and declared all the pills to be non- effective."
Sandra could not help but cast a glance at Darryl.
What? All the pills had lost their effects?
Gigi trembled at the words, disbelief written all over her exquisite features as she glanced
at the box in Sandra's hands before taking it from her and opening it to take a look.
"What..."
Upon taking a closer look at all the pills in the box, Gigi looked at Darryl with an utmost
confused expression. "Those pills look pretty well-kept. How could they all have lost their
effects? Are you attempting to lie to Sandra by taking advantage of the fact that she does
not know anything about pills?
What the f*ck?"
Darryl startled before saying in an amused tone, "I'm lying to her? Why would you think
that? She's not done anything to wrong me. Why would I lie to her?"
As the words rang through the air, Sandra could not help but pull at Gigi's sleeves as she
bit her lip and said, "Sister Gigi, don't speak too rashly."
She did not want to cause any problems as a guest. Ronny had also offended Darryl and
was still unconscious. Under those circumstances, there was no way she would get on
Darryl's nerves.
Despite having some status in the Pure Yang Division, Gigi was only the Palace Master's
head disciple. Darryl was the Elixir Sector's head, and Gigi suspected him. Was she not
afraid of him?
Sandra was beside herself with panic, but Gigi was utterly calm.
Gigi scoffed impatiently at the grin on Darryl's face as she said, "Either way, I don't believe
that all these pills have lost their effects." Even though Darryl had helped massage her
acupoints the previous day, she thought the man was only good for a trick or two.
Who could guarantee that he actually knew anything about pills?

Sandra bit her lip, saying in a low voice, "When we were leaving the Wild Crane

that either."

Gigi could not help but mumble softly before dragging Sandra along." Come on, let's go
and see what he's up to."
She did not believe that he had a way to prove that all of those pills had lost their effects.
Sofia was the last to enter but the most excited. She was a smart girl and knew that Darryl
was preparing to make some pills.
Sofia had not seen Darryl make any pill in the three days she had been his elixir assistant.
