Chapter 5881 Whew! Veron trembled at the words, taking in a deep breath as her expression grew heavy.
That was right... It was indeed suspicious that there were only a few people guarding the palace dungeon. "Let's not think about that right now." Veron returned to her senses quickly enough. "I'm going to get you out of here, whether or not they've planned an ambush." As the final word rang through the air, Veron tugged at Bowen's hand as she ducked into a smaller path to the side with him. It had to be said that the palace was absolutely gigantic. It was going to be pretty hard getting out of there.
Upon running for a few minutes, Veron stopped in her footsteps all of a sudden just as they were about to reach the palace gate facing the west.

At the stime, Bowen's heart began to race as well.
Crap! Upon taking a look at their surroundings before looking at the gate again, their expressions shifted greatly.
All that could be seen was a figure walking out from the shadows slowly.
He was clad in black armor, standing firm as a rock as he held a giant bow in his hands. Who else could it be if not Tyson? Indeed...
It was Tyson who had arranged for the dungeon to be loosely guarded.
Tyson had spent the day torturing Bowen and forcing him to speak but to no avail. This had angered Tyson greatly. He remembered then that Veron had not shown up all day and knew that she was going to sneak in to save Bowen at all costs. This was why Tyson had removed most of the security surrounding the dungeon before waiting for Veron to show up.
Crap! Bowen could not hide the resentment in his gaze at the sight of Tyson, even as his chest pounded nervously. This had been a trap, after all.

No matter what happened tonight, she was going to get Bowen out of there. "Ho ho..." Just then, Tyson strode forward slowly. He first looked at Veron before looking at Bowen as he smirked. bet you weren't expecting to see me. I'm going to be honest- neither was I! Who would've thought that the little lady would get here so soon to save her dying dog." As he spoke the words, Tyson's face was creased into a twisted smile. Bowen took a deep breath at the words, not saying anything in response.
Veron was fuming with anger. She gripped her long sword, stepping forward and roaring, "You shameless bastard, Tyson. You're never going to live down what you did" Despite not truly understanding the entire picture, Veron had heard from a lot of the gossip in town that Tyson had taken Kokun out for power. "Tsk tsk..." The smile stayed on Tyson's face at the words, his gaze flashing dangerously. "Who do you think you are, you brat? How dare you speak tolike that?" As the final word rang through the air, Tyson exploded with energy as he cast a fierce blow in Veron's direction!
At the stime, the two hundred black armored masked riders that had been hiding nearby rushed out at once to surround Bowen.
Veron bit her lip at the sight of the incoming blow, her chest thudding with shock. Yet she gripped her long sword, meeting it head-on. Thump!
In the blink of an eye, both figures collided in mid-air. A series of om rumbles sounded out as veron cried out, and she was sent flying. She landed heavily on a rock after flying over fifty meters, her face paling. "Ninth Lady!" Bowen's voice croaked as he wanted to rush over, but he was heavily surrounded by the army riders. "Are you alright?" "Yes, yes..." Veron nodded, getting to her feet slowly as she gazed intently at Tyson.
