Chapter 509 How Much Money Do You Want?
Jenny’s words had come straight from her heart, but Jolene didn’t believe a word. She had already pegged Jenny as
her rival, here to steal everything away from her.
She scoffed and said, “What a lovely excuse. Why would you come here if you weren’t interested in the Walters?”
“Because of you and your mother.” Jenny smirked. If it weren’t for them, she might not have come back.
Jolene didn’t want to continue with the topic. She thought there was no point in it. “Tell me, what do you want?”
Jenny frowned and laughed. “What can I do? Why can’t I understand what you’re saying?”
“Stop acting dumb. How much money do you want to leave the Walters?” Jolene asked. In her eyes, Jenny was

Jenny was annoyed seeing Jolene act so high and mighty. Couldn’t she understand plain English? Hadn’t Jenny made
it clear enough?
“Money? How much money can you give me?” Jenny asked her as if she were looking at a fool.
Jolene thought for a moment and said, “One million dollars. You will leave the Walters and never come back.”
Although she didn’t have a million dollars to spare, her mother probably wouldn’t have a problem giving it to her.
She wouldn’t have given Jenny this much if she had known how stubborn she was.
“One million?” Jenny laughed. She was a little surprised. “The Walters are indeed rich. A million is spare change to
them.”
It wasn’t that the Walters couldn’t give her a million dollars; Jenny was surprised that Jolene could start from a
million dollars. That meant a million dollars wasn’t really that much in her eyes.
“Stop clowning around. Are you taking it or not?” Jolene asked, irritated.
However, she didn’t receive the answer she wanted. “Why should I take it? The Walters are so rich. As long as I
stay, I’d be able to easily get more than a million dollars.”
“You!” Jolene was angered once more. That was what she was afraid of. She controlled herself as best as she could.
She remembered what Rowena had said. Jolene was far more impatient than Jenny. She had to change, or else she
would be the only one suffering. “Don’t think that you
have Dad to protect you and hand the Walters over to you. That’s impossible, I’m telling you. Although they say
you’re their lost daughter, no one is a fool. They know who you are. They just haven’t exposed you yet. But me? My
mom is also one of the Ten Elites. My mom is worth millions more than yours. What are you going to use to

Jenny’s face darkened. Not because Jolene was looking down on her but because she was belittling her mother.
Although Jenny had never seen her mother, she hated when someone spoke ill of her.
Jenny said nothing for a long time. When Jolene thought she was about to agree, Jenny marched toward her.
“What are you…” before Jolene could finish her words, Jenny lifted her in the air.
Jolene was like a lamb waiting to be slaughtered in her arms. She had no way to defend herself.
Jenny grabbed her collar and dragged her to the swimming pool. “Watch your words. Don’t let me hear you
speaking ill of my mother again. Got it?”
“Jenny. Ah!” Jolene screamed. She was plunged into the water, and she struggled in it. She swallowed many
mouthfuls before steadying herself, stopping herself from drowning. “I’m going to kill you, Jenny!” she roared. But
Jenny was already gone.
