Chapter 636 They’re Still Too Inexperienced
After a moment of silence, Zeke smiled and said, "This can only mean that either he was
putting on an act in the past or the act is happening now."
The butler thought for a while before expressing his opinion. "I think he was pretending
before. Perhaps he never really liked Jenny and was only clinging to her because he knew
she was the daughter of the Walters. Now that he is part of the Fausts, he must feel that
he is out of her league, so there's no need to pretend anymore."
There were many people like that who only cared about their own interests and benefits. It
didn't matter to them whether they liked what they were doing or the people they were
associated with.
His butler's suggestion made sense to Zeke.
"Keep an eye on him," Zeke instructed. "Whether he is pretending or not, it will become

"But sir, why do you insist on bringing back those Fausts who are outsiders? Are you really
planning to hand over the Faust family to them?" The butler was confused. He had been
with Zeke for many years and thought he understood him well. However, he could not
understand the decision he had made.
Zeke chuckled lightly. "Look at my two sons and my two grandsons. Do you think they can
take over the reins of the Faust family?"
As for his three granddaughters, Zeke did not even mention them because they were
unlikely to take over the Faust family in any way.
"Didn't you always have high hopes for Xavier? In recent years, all the outsiders thought
you would hand over the reins to him," the butler answered.
Xavier was Zeke's eldest son, and he had been gradually managing the Faust family in
recent years. Everyone thought that the Faust family would ultimately belong to him.
However, Zeke's new idea caught all of them by surprise.
At the mention of his eldest son, Zeke sighed. "He does have a great business acumen,
and the Faust family should do well if handed over to him, but..."
He paused for a moment before continuing, "He is ruthless. Anyone who inconveniences
him, whether his siblings or children, will suffer. At this age, I don't want to see anything
happen to my sons and grandsons, so I can't hand over the Fausts to him."
The butler recalled how Xavier conducted his business and began to break out in cold
sweat. "What about your second son? He's not as ruthless as Xavier, sir."
"He is indeed better in this aspect, but sometimes he is too indecisive. If the Fausts are in
his hands, it will be difficult for us to make any progress for many years." Zeke felt
troubled as both of his sons had their shortcomings.
Listening to him, Zeke's butler knew that he had analyzed his sons thoroughly. "What
about your grandsons? Don't you think they are capable enough?"
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmIn his opinion, Zeke's grandsons were capable in their own right, and they had good
character. Hence, they could lead the Fausts.
Zeke shook his head helplessly. "They're still too inexperienced."
"I brought back Alec and the others to make them feel anxious. Also, it'll help to train
them."
Upon hearing that, realization struck the old butler. "Are you planning to use Alec and
others as their whetstones?"
"Yes, that's the idea," Zeke nodded. He could not let his lifelong career be handed over to
outsiders, even if Alec shared the same surname.
No one knew about the conversation between them. Meanwhile, at the entrance of the
Faust Manor, Jenny was stopped by someone before she could even get in the car.
"Hello, can I hitch a ride with you?" a cheerful young man asked, beaming with a smile.
If it weren't for the fact that he had just come out of Faust Manor, Jenny would have
thought he was a college student who couldn't afford a taxi.
"What a pity," she thought to herself.
