Chapter 663 My Cup of Tea
Blake felt a little sad hearing him say that, but she still insisted and said, ’ Are you sure
you don't want to reconsider that?" "No, I don't.’ Alec's reply was decisive.
"Would you consider it if it was us?" Blake looked at him, her eyes sincere.
Alec was stunned as he was surprised to hear that from her. "Are you serious?"
"Of course I am. Didn't I tell you before that I have feelings for you?’ Blake crossed her
arms and looked at him, smiling. She felt a mixture of feelings internally and was far from
as calm as she appeared.
She never expected that she would fall in love with a man one day and would even
confess her feelings to him. On top of that, she was nervous and afraid that he didn't feel
the same way. She was Blake Watkins, a respected psychologist and a daughter of the
Watkins family. She had countless admirers and never thought she would be groveling for
someone's affection one day.

I will remember that favor for the rest of my life, but-"
"Stop." Blake interrupted him, lifting her hand. "I know what you're going to say. You've
misunderstood me. What I meant was that we pretend to be together,’ she quickly
explained with a smile, although she felt bitter inside.
"What do you mean?’ Alec was obviously more interested in this proposal, thinking Blake
must have her reasons for saying this.
Blake didn't know whether to be happy or sad that he was interested. She sighed and
elaborated, "You're not given any importance within the Fausts right now, so if you want to
get more support, you have to increase your value. You may be capable, but no one will
support you without a powerful family backing you. Suppose you and I are in a
relationship, outsiders will naturally think that you have the support of the Watkins, and
the attention on you will increase, giving you a chance to showcase your abilities."
She didn't doubt Alec's abilities, but in a place like the Faust family, having abilities
doesn't necessarily equate to having the opportunity to put those abilities into action.
There were too many people who wanted to do the same in the family. Compared to
Zeke's sons and grandsons, Alec, who was considered an outsider, didn't have much
value.
Alec fell silent. He seemed to be contemplating Blake's words seriously.
Blake didn't hurry Alec, believing that he was a smart person who would make a choice
that was favorable to him.
After a while, Alec slowly said, "Why are you helping me like this? What do you want in
return?"
"I've told you before-after you secure the Fausts, you'll help me take control of the Watkins
in turn. So, what I need to do now is to do everything
I can to help you take over the Fausts; otherwise, everything we've talked about so far is
just empty talk," Blake replied.
Alec thought that this reason was only marginally acceptable. He couldn't help but feel

him.
He looked at her and asked, "If that's the case, why don't you choose Luke or Julian? They
have a greater chance of success, don't they?"
They were both Zeke's biological grandsons. In the eyes of outsiders, they were the most
likely to inherit the Fausts' wealth and power. Even if they couldn't inherit it now, they
would still inherit it after their father's death.
"Well, unfortunately, they're not as handsome as you." Blake smiled, her slender fingers
tracing Alec's face. "You're my cup of tea."
Alec's face darkened right away. "If you're not taking this seriously, I won't agree to it."
Blake was speechless, thinking Alec was so tenacious that it was scary. ’ They all look
down on me, so they won't collaborate with me," she answered.
To the Fausts, the Watkins were nothing special. Luke and Julian wouldn't consider working
with the them. Even if they were willing to marry someone from the Watkins, they would
never agree to collaborate with Blake.
