Chapter 762 I'm Not Interested in Him
While the two were talking, Alec didn't leave and continued trailing behind Jenny. Only
after confirming that she was fine did his heart finally stop pounding in his chest.
Seeing that he had not left yet, Jenny was a little puzzled. "Is there anything else, Mr.
Faust?"
"No." Alec shook his head, but his gaze was fixed on Evan. He seemed to be very curious
about him, or more precisely, he was curious about Evan's relationship with Jenny.
As if knowing what he was thinking, Evan extended his hand to him.
"Hello, Mr. Faust. I am Evan Clarke, Jenny's family."
The word "family" could be interpreted in many ways. It could mean anything from siblings
to relatives and even someone's husband.
Although his expression shifted, his face didn't betray his emotions.
"Hello."
After the two men exchanged pleasantries, Alec was ready to leave since he had nothing
left to do.
"By the way, Mr. Faust.” Jenny stopped him. "About the surgery you mentioned earlier, if
it's urgent, you can bring me the information tomorrow for me to look at first."
"It's not urgent. Your injury-"
"I'm fine. It won't affect the surgery," Jenny said.
Alec wanted her to rest for a few more days, not because he was worried about the
surgery being affected. However, he didn't correct Jenny's misunderstanding of his
intentions.
"Alright, I'll send you the information tomorrow."
As Alec left. Evan watched his retreating figure, his gaze a tiny bit hostile. He could tell
that something was going on with Alec. "Are you going to perform surgery on him?" Evan
asked.
Jenny nodded, oblivious to the strange look in Evan's eyes.
"He needs to undergo craniotomy surgery because of the cerebral hemorrhage caused by
the trauma of the impact."
"Of all the doctors in Bardoff City, he just had to look for you," Evan sneered, thinking to
himself that it wasn't just about the surgery.
Jenny glanced at him, saying, "He approached my mentor first, and my mentor referred
him to me."
"Oh, I see." Evan's reply seemed a little stiff and unnatural. "I was just asking."
"Is that so? Why do you seem very interested in him?" Jenny watched him, not believing
he was just asking a casual question.
Evan scratched his nose and laughed dryly. "I'm not interested in him."
Jenny didn't ask more. Instead, she said, "Let's go home."
"Alright." Evan did not dwell on the topic, but he believed that Jenny understood what he

Before they left the hospital, Jenny went to ensure that Alicia was okay. After that, she
followed Evan out of the hospital.
By the time they arrived at Walter Castle, Graham had been waiting for some time. It was
his first time meeting Evan. Facing his future father-in- law, Evan put on his best behavior.
Although Graham couldn't figure out the relationship between Evan and his daughter, he
supported Evan and was friendly to him because he seemed like a good person. To no
one's surprise, Evan stayed for dinner. Jenny didn't pay any attention and returned to her
room to freshen up before returning to the living room.
Meanwhile, Rowena was also in the living room, looking defeated and dispirited. Perhaps it
was because the Glasses had gone bankrupt. Her family had been her greatest backing.
Now they were gone, and the Walter family had turned their backs on her. Despair was
beginning to overcome her.
Nonetheless, her pitiful state did not garner Jenny's pity.
Smiling, Jenny greeted her. Her unexpected action caused Rowena to break out in cold
sweat when she saw Jenny grinning at her.
