Chapter 791 Have You Been Shot?
When Jenny arrived at the scene and saw the madness, she grabbed the steering wheel
and crashed the car in front of the mercenaries to stop them from shooting at the
hostages. Then, she hopped out of the car and walked over to Graham and James, taking
off her ski mask. ’Dad, James."
"Jenny, I know you wouldn't let us down.’ James was glad but unsurprised to see her, for
he knew she'd come to their rescue.
On the other hand, Graham, who looked a little pale, forced a smile at her." Jenny, I have
nothing to worry about if you're this capable."
"Let's get into the car and talk after we leave." She was worried that Kevin and his men in
the first car might turn back. Even though it was an impossible scenario, she didn't want

"Sure." The two men nodded and went into the car that Jenny drove. They didn't walk long
before Jenny noticed something amiss in Graham. "Have you been shot?"
"No, no. Let's go now." He shook his head, knowing they were at greater risk with each
passing minute. Still, Jenny flipped his coat open and saw the bleeding on his lower
abdomen. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she held back from crying. ’How could you say
you weren't shot? Are you only planning to tell me when you're dying from blood loss?’
Despite her fury, she understood that he hid the gunshot wound from them to keep them
from worrying and wasting time at the scene.
"Don’t move. I'll bandage your wound." Thankfully, Jenny had a first-aid kit with her in the
car. Even though there was no tool to extract the bullet from his wound, she could at least
perform simple bandaging to stop the blood loss.
"Let's go!" she yelled at the driver. With wounds in his thigh and lower abdomen, Graham
must be sent to the hospital as soon as possible to avoid complications. Jenny had her
regrets about not prosecuting Kevin directly, but she had to prioritize Graham's safety.
She had stationed some men at the border. Once Kevin arrived, he'd be arrested right
away.
While leaving, she turned to check out the mercenaries one last time. She did not take
their lives because they were in the territory of Clusia. No matter how damned they were,
they should be left to the authorities and the rule of law.
The car sped down the road, and Graham was finally transported to the nearest hospital.
Although the hospitals in Bardoff City were better equipped, she had no choice but to get
his bullet extracted as soon as possible before transferring him to Bardoff City.
Meanwhile, Kevin and the rest of his subordinates hurried over to their destination. They

"Boss, that woman did not come after us,’ one of his men reported.
"Great. Let's find a place to rest and get moving after dark. Once we're on the other side,
we can start a wonderful new life." He beamed at the thought of the life awaiting him.
They could not cross the border in broad daylight, hence the decision to move after dark.
If they were lucky, no one would spot them at all. Still, Kevin was worried that Jenny might
not let them off the hook.
He took a deep breath and told himself to stop overthinking. Putting aside Jenny's
capabilities, she had to tend to her father first. He believed that she'd feel thankful to
have Graham back and would rather not waste her time to come after them.
Alas, he underestimated Jenny’s vengefulness. She was happy at the successful rescue,
but it did not detract from her plan to get the mercenaries arrested.
