Chapter 850 He's Strange
Flint took a deep look at her but didn't say anything else. "Let's call it a draw this time.
Neither of us won."
Jenny was about to refuse, but Flint didn't wait for her to speak and had already walked
toward the parking lot exit.
Seeing him walk away, Jenny was speechless. "Has he always been like this?"
"Do you find him strange?" Melissa asked as she looked in the direction of the retreating
Flint.
Jenny nodded. "He's a little strange indeed, but he's not as bad as you make him out to
be."
Melissa shrugged. She couldn't really tell what was going on in Flint's mind. Seeing that
the matter was over without causing too much commotion, she breathed a sigh of relief.
"Anyway, I'm glad we didn't get into an ugly fight with Flint. It's a pity I didn't have a
chance to make a move."

and found it was a call from the bar's management. She answered the call and listened to
the person on the other end explain the situation. Her expression immediately fell.
"What? Someone came to cause trouble? I'm coming over now. I have to teach those little
brats a lesson."
After hanging up, she turned to look at Jenny and got ready to leave. ’I'll go back first. You
be careful these days. If Flint comes to find you again, remember to inform me about it."
"Did something happen at the bar?" Jenny asked.
"It's nothing major, just a few little brats who like to come and make a scene. I held back
and didn't do anything to them the first time. I have to teach them a lesson today." Those
youngsters needed to be dealt with, as they were getting too arrogant.
"Do you need my help?" Jenny asked.
Melissa shook her head. "This kind of small issue doesn't require your attention. I can
handle it."
"Alright then, you go ahead. Call me if you need anything." Jenny didn't stop her. Since
she had decided to hand over the bar management to Melissa, she wouldn't interfere too
much.
They didn't continue their conversation after that, and Melissa hurried to the bar. Once she
was some distance away, Jenny couldn't help but laugh.
She hadn't expected Melissa to be so passionate about her work. When Jenny first met
her, she thought Melissa must be someone who didn't like working, which was probably
why she didn't earn much money. Now, it seemed to Jenny it wasn't that Melissa didn't
want to make more money- she didn't exactly have the opportunity to do that.
"What are you laughing at, Miss Walter?" A male voice came from behind Jenny. She
turned around and saw Luke coming out of the hospital. Her smile instantly froze on her
face.
Soon, she regained her composure and kept the corners of her mouth raised to maintain
her smile. "Were you sick, Mr. Luke? Why did you come out of the hospital?"

thought I would miss you, but I bumped into you while leaving the hospital instead." Luke
smiled, but his smile was unsettling.
Jenny forced a dry laugh. "Is that so? That's quite a coincidence."
If only she'd left the parking lot a little later, she wouldn't have been so unlucky to run into
Luke. She didn't know why, but she just didn't like him, feeling that he was too cunning.
Jenny wondered if her dislike toward him stemmed from her being influenced by Alec. It
was possibly because she knew that these people were competing with Alec, so she
subconsciously started to dislike them too.
Thinking of that, she couldn't help but feel a little alarmed. If that was the case, then
Alec's influence on her was really significant.
Luke didn't know what she was thinking. Seeing her lost in thought, he asked, "Miss
Walter, what are you thinking about?"
"Oh, it's nothing. Why did you come to find me?" she asked.
"Well, since I couldn't invite you to dinner last time, I came to visit again today. You
wouldn't keep rejecting my sincere efforts, right?" Luke asked with a smile.
