Chapter 653 Huge Favor
Caroline shook her head. “He just wants to sleep in when he doesn’t have to work.”
“Alright then. Let’s go now.” Paige put her arm around Caroline’s.
Caroline glanced around. “Where’s Evan?”

Paige explained, “Alex said he’s got work, so he’ll join us later.”
“Got it. I’ll go check with Eira,” Caroline said and headed to the kitchen.
After their quick chat, she told the kids, “Time to go!”
Kenny, who had been standing barefoot upstairs, quickly changed and came downstairs after Caroline
left. He bumped into Eira as she exited the kitchen.
Kenny asked, “Are they gone? Are you sure they’ve left?”
Eira looked puzzled. “Why are you so nervous? Are you planning something without Carol knowing?”
Kenny mumbled, “I’m not her boyfriend, but there are things I’d rather keep from her.”
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtEira narrowed her eyes. “You seem off, Kenny.”
“Don’t ask too many questions. You’re just a kid. I’m going out, bye! I’ll bring food for you later.” Kenny
patted Eira’s head absentmindedly.
Eira said, “I won’t be home today. Don’t bother bringing me food.”
Kenny waved and said, “Alright, got it.”
After leaving the house, Kenny got in his car and made a phone call. The other party picked up, and Kenny asked, “Where are you? I’ll come pick you up.”
Fifteen minutes later, Kenny arrived at an ordinary–looking diner. He checked the storefront and entered with a frown, only relaxing when he spotted the woman with her back to him.
Sitting across from her, Kenny asked, “Why this diner? I can take you to a nicer restaurant.”
“I like it here. Order whatever you want,” the woman replied casually, taking her time to set down her
utensils.
Kenny nodded and called the waitress to order a sandwich.

The waitress said, “Certainly,”
Kenny turned back to the woman and asked, “So, is it just a sandwich today, Yuliana?”
“No, I want to know why you’re living with Caroline,” Yuliana said, looking at Kenny with indifference.
Kenny was taken aback. “I’m too lazy to rent a place, and G is a very good friend of mine. I’m comfortable
living at her place.”
“Do you not like her?” Yuliana asked.
“I like her as a friend, but not romantically,” Kenny replied without hesitation. “She’s my best friend.”
Yuliana pressed further, “Who can confirm this?”
Kenny grew frustrated and ran his hand through his hair. “Neil can vouch for it. I’ve known G for over five
years. Are you jealous?”
“No, I’m just curious about the kind of person my cousin is.”
Kenny frowned. “You can find plenty of online comments about her character and you’re family. Why
doubt her character?”
Yuliana sneered. “I don’t trust online comments, and I know she has a close relationship with a man.”
“Dr. Wilson?” Kenny asked.
Yuliana nodded. “I think so. Am I mistaken?”
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmKenny explained, “Dr. Wilson might have intentions, but G doesn’t share those feelings. If they were to be
together, why wait until now?
Yuliana scoffed. “The real question is, did both of them have those intentions at some point? Caroline
distanced herself from Scott when she got closer to Evan, treating the men around her as backups. What
do you call someone like that, if not a bad person?”
Kenny disagreed, saying. “No, she’s not. Did you ask me out just to discuss this?”
Yuliana replied calmly, “I’m just objectively analyzing her.”
“I don’t need your analysis. I know Caroline well enough. She’s not the loose woman you think she is. Do
you know how hard it was for her to raise her children abroad on her own? While you were enjoying the
good life, she was eating bread to afford formula for her kids,” Kenny said, growing angry.
“Didn’t my cousin financially support her? Why are you defending her?” Yullana asked.
Kenny chuckled. “Ask your cousin if Caroline took any money from him. I get it now.”
Yuliana remained silent, looking at Kenny with indifference.

Kenny continued. “You approached me under the guise of wanting to date me to gather information, right? I’ll just say it. Caroline is not the person you think she is. It was Daniella who drove her to leave the country. She supported her children’s living expenses, Lily, and herself all on her own. She did me a huge favor for a small amount of money when we first met.”
