Noah opened his eyes before the blue building in the enclosed area, and the light that flashed forth at their arrival alerted the experts inside, and merely instants later the door came bursting open.
The faces of his group members appeared in his eyes and he saw that their eyes widened in shock. But also relief.
The moment Noah had asked them to flee, they had. But then the aura of a being close to the fifth tier permeated the environment, but they dared not turn back.
Still, they had believed Noah would wind up dead, but then the world had suddenly trembled and an equally oppressive air unfolded, but this time far more different.
After that point, the battle disappeared from their range and they kept on flying across the regions.
"I see you all made it," Noah spoke, walking forward. He felt the eyes of those experts scan his figure with intensity. They remained stunned by the fact that he was alive.
"What about the woman?" Davis asked moving forward.
"I took care of her, as promised," Noah revealed and they gasped. Davis quite literally placed his hand on his mouth. But Noah's gaze remained.
"How do you expect us to take that in lightly? You're supposed to be a middle-stage cultivator," Davis spoke furrowing his brows at the sheer weight of what was revealed.
"Yet you defeated a higher stage cultivator that possessed might close to the fifth tier," the giant of a man revealed, pulling the attention of the silent elder.
Noah simply nodded, noticing the bald expert arriving beside him.
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"I do not expect you to take it in. I understand it's hard to watch certain limits shatter. But since you'll be working with me more, you'll see such limits get shattered every now and then." Noah stated, nodding his head.
"You defeated a higher-stage cultivator?" Elder Velsovon chipped in, genuinely curious now. Those experts had spoken of certain feats, but this was new.
"A quasi-tier five," Noah clarified, watching the elder stroke his bearded chin.
"This is interesting. Very interesting." The man revealed, falling into a bit of his thoughts.
Silence reigned at that point, but Noah broke it.
"Elder. What were the results of the raid against the elven base?" He voiced his thoughts and watched the elder's eyebrows flicker.
"I was not aware you knew of that," the expert paused taking a moment to collect his thoughts.
"I noticed the state of the city. It was off compared to merely a week ago," Noah explained folding his arms.
The elder sighed at that point, understanding what the stunning man meant.
"You're right. And that is because we never managed to conquer them in their entirety." Elder Velsvon announced pulling all attention to his words.
"The elves proved difficult to combat, and although we had some of the bests in battle, there were still losses."
"They managed to eradicate a significant portion of the base, but we lost many too. As expected."
"The battle had raged for three days, but the guild council and the remaining members had to retreat." The elder sighed recalling the experts that had been lost, he personally knew some of the ones belonging to the divine lightning guild.
If only tier 5's could participate, he felt certain to be capable of taking many experts his level.
"I see," Noah muttered.
"Yes. As we speak a meeting concerning the matter is being held in the central city. The order is winning, and there seems to be nothing we can do." The elder revealed his frustration on the matter. He hated to watch the younger generation die before they hit their full potential.
"I'm guessing elder Ezra is in that meeting," Noah fell into thought too.
"Yes. she's representing us," elder Velsvon nodded. "The rest of us might cause a ruckus out of the anger in our minds."
"Then we'd have to wait till she returns to know our next destination,' Noah spoke addressing the group.
"I suggest you all rest well. The next mission would most likely be far harder to deal with," he explained, even if he meant the presence of the veiled experts.
"She should be back in the next few days along with the experts that fought and survived." Elder Velsvon revealed.
"Thank you for mentioning," Noah bowed hoping the others returned to the building. Only a few of them could properly speak with him, the rest simply remained in the background, satisfied with hearing him speak to the others.
"You lads can get inside now. I and this young man have somewhere to go," Elder Velsvon disclosed, piquing Noah's interest.
"Yes." The expert affirmed and Noah could only nod in return.

The duo disappeared a moment later only to appear high in the sky of the Renga region.
The wind blew violently and the white nature of snow permeated the environment. The temperature plunged, but Noah and the elder were unaffected by the event.
Noah dismissed the details of the snowy region to focus on the expert.
"Where is it that we wanted to go?" He asked finding their position unfit for a proper location to visit, he could ascend into the sky if he wanted, so there had to be more.
"Are you aware of the event that occurred a few days ago?" The elder spoke, dismissing Noah's question.
"Which? I was busy in a battle to notice much," Noah revealed in honesty.
"Oh yes... But the world shook. Like literally. It was an event that stretched as far as the entire Cusk nation. I have friends who spoke about the event in other nations. It's also one of the things being discussed in the meeting as we speak," the elder explained staring far into the white horizon. The presence of snow didn't hinder his powerful visual capabilities.
"Most wonder what it was, but the knowledgeable understand what had happened. Cregar felt and saw something. That something being you..."
"At least that was what I was told. My master will speak further to you about it," the expert revealed and Noah couldn't connect his words to that that would be spoken by a veiled expert.
"Your master?" Noah's brows furrowed, ready to go into combat if necessary.
The world around them trembled, however, and space twisted and turned to reveal a tear in its fabric. The world around them suddenly lost its light, and before even Noah could react a figure silently appeared in their presence.
"It's been a while, heir of the god of speed. I can see you've grown into something terrible," a masculine voice Noah recognized far too well rang out from the black but seemingly starry figure of a man.
"I wondered when you'd show up," Noah wasted no time in commenting, allowing Muliix to appear on his body, his daggers in his grip, and his aura to flow forth with its fullness. "I have unsettled beef with you."
