Chapter 964 Temper Rising
Nicole gave it some thought. She placed one hand on her forehead. "I have plans for that. It would be
best if you keep creating using the existing idea. Although I can send someone to seek Rene, be
prepared that we might not locate her."
Everyone nodded in agreement but kept quiet afterward.
The meeting was adjourned.
But Nicole started to show a lot of interest in Rene.
Nicole had previously wished to work with this unknown individual, but Rene had a cold demeanor and
kept her identity a closely guarded secret. Nicole had never been able to locate her.
She now thought the design department's approach made complete sense. Finding Rene would be a
big step in the right direction.

Rene to work with me, Gareth will have to pay attention!
Gareth had been watching his ex-wife, but she couldn't possibly deserve his attention unless she stood

Once Elisa and Norman had shared their farewell moment, she gave him another call.
Although Norman didn't want to respond, he was curious about what Elisa had planned. He picked up
the phone.
Norman greeted, "What's up?"
"What's up?" Elisa smiled unexpectedly and mocked, "You have a terrible memory. Have you already
forgotten? So, since you're no longer the chairman, you should feel at ease."
Norman retorted, "Y-you!" He was bitter recently, and Elisa's snarky remarks irritated him further.
Elisa calmly added, "You should stay calm, Norman. At your age, you'll risk hypertension. Be careful of
that blood pressure."
Norman yelled, "Elisa! Is this how you treat your elders?"
Elisa sneered. She answered with sarcasm, "Elder? What elder? Do you even have an ounce of
understanding of what it means to be an elder? Or even a brother at that? We've parted ways,
Norman."
Norman's face sank. Does she know something? What is she trying to tell me?
Elisa interrupted Norman's train of thought. She spoke coldly, "Time is up, Norman. I'll only ask once.
What is your decision?"
There was an air of threat behind Elisa's words. Norman figured disagreeing would lead to disastrous

consequences.
Norman coldly dismissed Elisa's threat. He countered, "I caution you not to have irrational
expectations!"
Norman was sure Elisa had no recordings despite her prior rude statements. He spoke without
hesitation.
Elisa merely sneered and hung up the phone.
Norman didn't even get a 'goodbye' from Elisa.
Indecisively, he glanced at his phone. Did she hang up?
Did Elisa hang up? Maybe she accidentally pressed the wrong button?
Elisa seemed like she was going to say something just now. What made her stop?
Did Elisa hang up because I was too harsh?
Has Elisa found a solution?
She didn't even try to convince me. Elisa just questioned whether I was sure.
Well, Elisa isn't calling back. It's been a while, so this might mean it's true.
