"Dungeon? Another Dungeon?" Isaac asked with a frown.
Khione slightly nodded, "Under the High Temple is a Dungeon, a large one. But, it's only filled with flesh-eating monsters, each above level 200. There might be monsters close to level 500, and you can't even reach them in your current state."
"Does High Priest and High Priestess know that there are such dangerous beings right below their feet?" Isaac asked.
"Of course…" Khione slowly stepped to the side of the street, followed by Isaac. Soon, a carriage zoomed past them with extravagant-looking people seated inside. Their eyes shimmered in delight as they peeked outside and managed to catch a glimpse of the Goddess.
After the carriage was gone from sight, Khione continued, "They guard the entrance and won't hesitate to kill you if it meant to stop you from going there."
"Damn…" Isaac massaged his temple with his left thumb and middle finger, 'What should I do? Level 500 monsters… Just how long would it take me to reach such a level?'
It was like Khione knew what Isaac was thinking. Her voice echoed in the streets as her lips parted and she spoke.
"Go train… There is a good training facility for Marksmen. Grow stronger, and don't be impatient. There are multiple ways to increase your level, and do it patiently…"
After Isaac's face showed signs of displeasure, Khione quickly added, "Soon… Everything will change… The world you are aware of won't be the same."
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇt"Hmm?" Isaac looked at her with confusion. Then, he was led by Khione to the nearby training facility for Marksmen.
There, he met with the facility's trainer. Surprisingly, he was a level 300 Military man. Isaac did several training exercises to gauge the limit of his potential but also his current strength.
After several hours of torturous training, Isaac was freed from the training facility and met up with Khione outside the gates.
They returned to the bookstore and resumed their daily idling routines.
…
Soon, a week passed as Isaac's routine life continued. In the morning, he spent time in real-life, talking with Luna on the phone and mingling with his family.
At noon, he worked as a shopkeeper, rapidly increasing his wealth. Then, later in the day, it was time for the Training Facility. There, he was taught the way of the spear to be used alongside his weapon, and also shooting from difficult angles, and how to reduce the effect of recoil.
After the short week, his level reached 160, but it was still far from Isaac's goal. He wanted to increase his level rapidly and wished to do it faster. His Worldwide ranking was steady at 300, and the gap with the leading players seemed to increase.
Isaac had no idea how they earned XP, but it seemed to be very effective.
At the current time, Isaac was sitting on a wooden stool, a fresh scent of salt water wafting through his nostril, and a calm breeze of spring wind brushed past his white hair.
Below him was the wooden harbor with dozen ships docked near him. The bright blue water was only arms-length away.
However, he wasn't alone. Since half an hour ago, he discussed with the fishermen about the different sea beasts they had encountered. There were all sorts of crazed beasts lurking in the depths.
A few days ago, Khione left the Priesthood. Not by choice. It looked like she was dragged away by some invisible power.
Then, Isaac's back straightened as a black dot appeared in the distance. It didn't take long for the ship's outline to become clearer, and the color it was painted with also became clearer. A three-masted ship with sails flapping against the wind and a long hull split the sea in half as they moved forth.
As the ship got nearer to the harbor, the speed continued decreasing until it was moving at walking speed. Inch by inch, the ship slowly got anchored near the port, and the ship's tip grazed at the wooden harbor.
A long flight of stairs was neatly lowered, and the passenger started de-boarding with excited looks. There were players among them, and they all had the same faces of excitement.
Then, Isaac stood up after catching a glimpse of black hair. The owner of the black hair became clearer, and an innocent look coupled with a beautiful face caused many heartstrings to be pulled in the opposite directions.
While the players tried to start a conversation with her during the ship's journey, they couldn't earn even a word from her pink-colored lips. She was rather shy but also didn't really want to talk to strangers.
Her soft steps reached the bottom of the stairs, and her crystal clear eyes scanned the harbor until it stopped after seeing the white-haired man.
Her pink-colored lips curved up, and her walking speed became swift. It was like her steps were as light as feathers as she quickly skipped past the crowd of players and wrapped her slender arms around the white-haired man's waist.

Isaac patted Luna's soft hair and felt his cheeks heating up after noticing the amount of attention they got.
The fishermen smirked and whistled, "Get a room, you two!"
Luna's body flinched, but for some reason, she wasn't that opposed to that idea as her thoughts turned in an unknown direction.
Isaac grabbed her soft hand and walked out of the harbor with Luna in tow. After reaching the streets, they finally managed to let out a sigh, followed by a slight laugh.
"Wow, this place is beautiful!" Luna exclaimed with her crystal clear eyes brushing past the beautiful citizens and buildings. Her eyes continued shaking with shock as she saw the mountains splitting the clouds in half.
The sight was even more beautiful than Stronglord's enormous Royal Mountain.
They continued conversing during their walk. They talked about what they have been doing a past couple of times. Isaac mentioned the store but didn't mention anything about Khione.
On the other hand, Luna seemed to have received quite a bit of attention from the nobles. With her beautiful looks and Godly Legacy, on the other hand, she was a very prominent figure to be married to.
However, they couldn't crack the shell known as her love for Isaac. The handsome nobles grudgingly turned to dark magic and tried to make Isaac slip, fall down the stairs, and make his head crack like watermelon.
However, that turned out to be a very unsuccessful try.
Soon, Isaac and Luna reached his store. As her eyes sparkled with excitement, the door slowly opened, and the warm shop turned visible.
