Chapter 651 Gathering of Humanity's Army.
Thud.
''Ouch...'' Oliver rolled on the ground as he was suddenly thrown onto hard ground.
Chaos descended from the sky and landed beside him. She glanced at him for a split second before kicking to the left, opening a wooden door with a bam and throwing Oliver inside.
''Argh...'' Oliver landed head-first on the wooden floor but then felt himself moving away from the floor. Chaos held him by his collar like he was some kind of puppy.
Chaos let him go, allowing him to stand on his two feet. She pulled out a chair and sat down. As she folded her arms, she casually asked, ''Who was that white-haired man?''
''Eh?'' Oliver was startled. ''How do you not know?''
''I just happen not to know.'' Chaos said with a blank expression. ''Now, who was he?''
''...'' Oliver pondered for a moment before snorting. ''Not telling.''
''Oh, how insolent.'' Chaos unfolded her arms and stood up. ''Are all humans like this?
Follow on NovᴇlEnglish.nᴇtOliver flinched and backed off into the corner.
Chaos, however, didn't go after him. Instead, picked up newspaper from a shelf and sat back down. She flipped through the pages while leaving Oliver alone.
Oliver watched with sweat beads rolling down the side of his face. He desperately wanted to know his reason for being here!
''I see... Isaac Whitelock.'' Chaos suddenly said as she suddenly grinned. The first page in newspaper showed image of three bosses of the tournament. This was old newspaper from tournament days.
''Tch.'' Oliver clicked his tongue and asked. ''Why am I here?''
''Be quiet. I am reading.'' Chaos sharply said and turned back to the newspaper. She carefully read it and slightly frowned. The newspaper made it seem like three bosses were equal in strength. However, she knew for a fact, that there shouldn't be anyone else near Isaac's strength in humanity's side.
'He became stronger suddenly?' Was the only explanation Chaos thought of. She became even more interested of this individual called Isaac Whitelock.
She folded the newspaper, placed it on the table and turned to Oliver. ''You are here because I need you for disorder.''
''Disorder?''
Chaos grinned. ''Yes. The only way to win this war is through disorder. I can't achieve that alone. Thus, I will use you as a disorder.''
Oliver felt goosebumps. It was like he was being targeted by a prehistoric predator, ready to pounce on him and devour him. She was incredibly dangerous!
Chaos stood up and grabbed him by the shoulders. ''You were already prepared to die. So, at least die with disorder!''
...
Isaac stood in the Whitelock residence's living room. Maxwell and Isabella were sitting on the couches, looking at the TV with solemn expressions. Apparently, yesterday, Legacy Company's employees gathered every Chain Breaker with the help of the government and made them all move to White Paradise. They were preparing for something.
That included Luna and, surprisingly... Alice.
Isaac frowned, wondering why Alice was sent there. His parents looked incredibly anxious and fearful as they thought about their daughter ending up on the frontlines.
''Big brother!'' Out of nowhere, Mark appeared like a bolt of lightning and wrapped his tiny arms around Isaac's legs. He turned to look up and asked, ''Are you going there as well?''
Isaac patted his little brother's head and shrugged. ''Perhaps...''
He frowned and, at first, wanted to ensure the safety of his family. He wouldn't leave somewhere blindly and leave his family in danger. It was something his heart told him to do. He wasn't sure whether it was because of his Future Self's influence or his regret.
At least, he would go check on Alice and Luna, make sure they were alright.
...
In White Paradise.
Follow on Novᴇl-Onlinᴇ.cᴏmThousands of Chain Breakers had gathered in the yard of Legacy Company. Every now and then, a several flying gods and goddesses flew over the sky. This was also the place where they resided!
The Chain Breakers were shocked to see so many legendary figures, walking in the streets in broad daylight.
Among the chain breakers, several familiar faces popped up. Henry, the Legacy Carrier of Jack the Ripper, who was sentenced to ten years in prison, was standing in the middle of chain breakers with a dead-looking expression.
Mint, who was sentenced to Tartarus, trembled like a frightened bunny. Once the Sword of Myth became a public enemy, Tartarus shut down and the government managed to defeat the Sword of Myth battalion stationed there.
Lady Evelyn hugged her legs as she was kneeling on the ground. She was chained by limbs, and the one holding the chains was Jason, nonchalantly smoking a cigarette while making sure she wasn't going to escape.
Then there were Kalzer, Amour, Xerxus, Noelle, Cecilia, Elizia, Darkside, Queen Diana, Darth, King Jonathan, surprisingly King Michael along with Colossus.
At the far end of the group was Luna and Alice, looking over the group of strong players with slight nervousness. Then, footsteps rang from Legacy Company's building and soon everyone saw Arthur.
They were startled at first.
Arthur took his spot on the platform and pulled out a microphone. He opened his mouth and started talking about the danger humanity was facing. He didn't leave anything out. He also added that New-Gen humans and Inhumans would help in this fight. They have, on average, far stronger people than humanity has.
After the thirty minute long speech, everyone was left speechless and slightly frightened.
Then, all the Gods and Goddesses revealed themselves, showing the true prowess of humanity, giving them more hope. There were over a thousand Gods and Goddesses, nine Primordial Gods, thousands of legacy figures, and over a thousand strong Chain Breakers, with some even having the strength of a God. And lastly, an army consisting of over a million angels and God Realm citizens.
Then, there were New-Gen Humans, and Inhumans.
In total, their army had more than 2 million people, fighting till their last breath. It was incredibly strong power, something never before seen!
''This battle has to have only one ending and that is victory!'' Arthur stated while his nails clawed into his flesh. He was more frightened than anyone else. The time had finally come, and losing wasn't an option!
