"No," Felix shook his head, forcing a smile, "Darling, be gentler. | want to live longer and grow old with you."

Their tender exchange brought comfort to Joyce.

"Alright, I've taken care of everything that needed attention. Be careful, both of you, especially with the people coming in and out

of the house. Don't let anyone take advantage," Joyce advised.

"We know, don't worry. | have smatters to attend to back at home. I'll head back now, we'll keep in touch. Callif anything

comes up," Vicki said, lightly patting Joyce's shoulder again, "Relax a bit, we'll weather this storm together."
