Chapter 1911: Daddy Loves Mommy
Meanwhile, Joyce and Luther returned htogether.
Having received the news earlier, Aaron had already safely brought Anderson home. As the door opened, Anderson rushed out of
the house.
"Daddy, Mommy, you're back?" Anderson's excited voice echoed through the entire living room.
Ever since the incident at school, he had been anxious until now. It was only when he saw Mommy and Daddy return that he finally
felt relieved.
"Yeah, we're back, and everything's been resolved. You don't have to worry anymore," Joyce's eyes were filled with warmth.
Luther lifted Anderson up and held him close. "lI promised you | would cback safely. Anderson, guess who else is here?"
He turned Anderson around, and Cecelia led Alisha into Anderson's view.
"Grandma, sister! You're here too!" Anderson could hardly believe his eyes. Today was truly full of surprises. Not only did Mommy
and Daddy cback safely, but Grandma and sister cto see him too.
However, between sister and Mommy...
Anderson looked at Joyce understandingly, then at Alisha. It seemed like it wasn't as serious as he had imagined. Or was it?
Joyce naturally understood what Anderson's eyes meant. She quietly pulled Anderson aside and whispered in his ear, "Today, it's all
thanks to Daddy. He made Alisha witness a scene, and Athena admitted she isn't Alisha's mother. Alisha heard everything. So, now
Alisha knows that | am her real mother."
Anderson nodded in surprise. Anxious, he asked, "What about the bad lady, what happened to her in the end?"
Joyce patted Anderson's head. "Don't worry, she can't harm anyone anymore."

Joyce nodded. "Yes, of course. They are resting in the hospital now."
At that moment, Alisha ran over and took Anderson's hand. "Big brother, what were you talking to Mommy about? Will you play
with me?"
Anderson immediately held Alisha's hands. "Wow, you've grown chubby and even more beautiful since | last saw you."
Joyce couldn't help but smile lightly. "Grandma took good care of her. Alisha now looks rosy-cheeked and healthy."
Luther was also relieved. When he first saw Alisha, she looked frail, often suffering from pneumonia and had to undergo surgery.
Thanks to Cecelia's careful nurturing, Alisha had recovered so quickly.
"Mom, you've done so much." Luther sincerely thanked Cecelia. It was also thanks to Cecelia that Alisha had been instilled with the
right concepts, and her contribution could not be overlooked.
"Don't mention it." Cecelia smiled and waved her hand. "I promise you, I'll cook a delicious meal today. Lettreat you to my
cooking. I'll go prepare now, you all enjoy yourselves."
Luther nodded gently. "If anything is missing, just let Aaron know, he will arrange it."
"Alright. Wait and see, I've learned a few new dishes recently. | guarantee you'll want seconds." Cecelia went to prepare the feast
with a smile on her face.
In the living room, the whole family gathered, enjoying each other's company.
Anderson took out his favorite gand brought it to the living room. He connected it to the TV, turned on the big screen, and
patiently taught Alisha how to play the game.
Joyce washed sfresh fruits and brought them to the children.
Anderson and Alisha played happily, with Anderson taking care of his sister in the game, protecting her and guiding her through
the challenges. He also occasionally corrected Alisha's moves and button presses. Alisha, too, was quick to learn, and soon, the
two were playing together, filling the room with their laughter.
"Sister, you're amazing, so clever!" Anderson couldn't help but praise her.
Watching this scene, Joyce felt a sense of contentment. She sat on the sofa, her mind wandering. The scenes that had just
unfolded seemed distant, fading in the warmth of the present.
Luther sat down beside Joyce and gently embraced her.
"What's wrong, do you have something on your mind?"
Joyce shook her head. "Nothing. | just feel like happiness ctoo suddenly, almost unreal. | never expected things to be resolved
so smoothly, and for Alisha to willingly acceptback. Even now, | can't quite believe it. I'm afraid this might be a beautiful
dream. When | wake up, I'll still have to face what needs to be faced."
Suddenly, Luther pinched her waist from behind.
Startled, Joyce felt a slight pain. "Why did you pinch me?"
Luther couldn't help but tweak her nose, "If it hurts, then it's not a dream."
Joyce gave him a look. "You've got snerve. | haven't even questioned you, and you've been keeping things from me. How
could you collude with my mother to bring Alisha to Khebury? You've been hiding things from me. Why couldn't you tell me?"
Luther took a deep breath. "Are you going to settle scores now?"
"Before, | gave you face in front of Felix and Vicki, and didn't question you. But now, you owean explanation." Joyce put her
hands on her hips, not planning to let Luther off the hook.
At that moment, Alisha sweetly called out, "Mommy, | want to eat strawberries. Will you feed me, please?"
"Of course." Joyce hurried over to Alisha's side and picked up a strawberry, placing it in Alisha's mouth. Alisha was completely
