The woman was carrying a bundle of items, all from high-end brands, and warmly remarked, “I was sent by Mr.

been visiting lately?”
The woman took Ms. Simmons aside and whispered. “Ms. Sullivan and Mr. James had a disagreement. Mr. James
wants to make amends, so he sent me to bring gifts for Ms. Sullivan.”
She handed the dems to Ms. Simmons.
Ms. Simmons was somewhat hesitant, “I can’t make this decision, I need to ask Emily.”
“You’re the nanny who looks after Ms. Sullivan’s child, right? Mr. James doesn’t want Ms. Sullivan to know about this.
She’s still mad at him and if she finds out,
she won’t accept it.”
The woman winked at Ms. Simmons, “This is Mr. James’ heartfelt gesture. It would be better for both of them if you
accepted the gifts discreetly.”.

Ms Simmons knew that Emily and Charlie had recently broken up after a major argument, and Charlie hadn’t been
