The one-eyed warrior was furious when he was being ignored. He quickly moved forward with his

sword in his hands and delivered a powerful blow to the silhouette.

The silhouette didn't turn around nor did it avoid the attack. Instead, it simply lifted its hand and caught

the curved longsword aiming at him.

Sparks flew when the silhouette's pale and weak-looking hand caught the one-eyed warrior's curved

longsword. It was as if the hand was made of steel.

"W-What?" The one-eyed warrior's eyes widened in shock.

He didn't think that the silhouette would be able to block a strike this strong with bare hands. He

couldn't even retrieve his sword no matter how hard he tried. Who was this person?

The one-eyed warrior's sword was broken into many pieces as the silhouette clenched its fist around

the sword tighter.

In the next moment, the silhouette turned around abruptly and revealed its pale and sickly face. Its

blood-red eyes shone with a demonic glow in the dark.

The silhouette growled and opened its bloody mouth as it rushed forward, aiming for the one-eyed

warrior's jugular vein. It moved so fast that the warrior wasn't able to react.

"Willem! That's enough!" Bailey spoke up in time to stop the silhouette when he saw that the one-eyed

warrior's neck was about to be devoured.

The silhouette suddenly froze in place when it heard Bailey talking. Its sharp fangs had already grazed

the skin of the one-eyed warrior's neck.

The silhouette was very close to sinking its fangs into the one-eyed warrior's jugular vein.

The one-eyed warrior was so terrified that he stood rooted to the ground. He was so afraid to move that

he even held his breath.

He felt as if he was in a nightmare at that moment, he could only feel fear in his heart. He knew that the

silhouette standing before him wasn't a human, it was a bloodthirsty monster!

"Bailey, I had to travel very far for this appointment. It seems that your friend doesn't welcome me. I

may be a gentleman, but I don't like having a sword in my face." Willem, the silhouette, turned around

slowly and replaced his menacing and violent look with a seemingly kind and gentle smile.

"Willem, if you had come in through the front door, this misunderstanding wouldn't have happened."

Bailey laughed.

"This is something that is unique to me. Plebeians like you wouldn't understand." Willem chucked away

the broken pieces of the curved longsword in his hand and deftly took out a white silk handkerchief to

wipe his hands.

"Mr. Alessandro, please allow me to introduce my friend." Bailey turned toward Willem as he stood up.

"This is my old friend, Willem. He's the Vice Commander of Esmington's Royal Knights."

"Esmington's Royal Knights?" Anthony frowned and blurted, "Are you the legendary Blood Devil

Willem?"

The Kimbokuan warriors were shocked to hear that, especially the one-eyed warrior. He couldn't

disguise the horror he felt.

Blood Devil Willem was a frightening existence in Esmington. He consumed human blood for

sustenance. He was also a very powerful and cruel person.

In addition to that, he was immortal! Regardless of the severity of the injury he suffered, including

decapitation, he could be revived with fresh blood. This was the ghastly trait of the Blood Devil!

They never thought they could see the Blood Devil with their own eyes!
